    Same here with IE6 & Firefox, cant be arsed to keep mentioning things dont work but apparently if I use Linux or buy a Mac it'll be fine Im not a Premium member yet though so have no right to moan (not that I am!) I think my holes deep enough, I'll shut up

    You can get the LM's in 17's but are quite rare! Might be worth waiting til a set comes up? I dont think the comps suit the convertible shape & Im not a fan of the Audi wheels on the Mk3 so I would say the RC's which I voted for or some LM's :0)

    The dealerships talking rubbish - no diagnostics pick up faults on plugs, leads and coilpacks! Could be a loose spark plug? I had a similar problem on mine for ages and it turned out to be that. See if can borrow a decent set of leads off someone and try those before buying a set yourself - the red OEM leads are around £110 a set.

    I use the same - when I wash the car I just give the rims a quick once over to try and stop any corrosion - seems to do the job!

    Theres loads of places to stay & camp around the ring but the Mercure in Koblenz is quite cheap and is a 4* hotel, I stayed there twice last year and was around £30 a night - same hotel in France was almost three times the price - Koblenz is roughly a 30 mins drive from the ring. You'll have to check the date you want to go with the organisers at the ring as it isnt open every weekend, closed some weekends for racing.

    I had a GMAX kit on my Calibra for a few years and found them to be an ok bit of kit! The kit I had werent coil overs or anything just normal shocks and springs - can handled well and wasnt a bouncy or hard ride & gave a nice difference in height - how they perform on a VR6, I dont know :0) You might have read that SPAX & GAX shocks are the same - engineers that worked for SPAX went off and set their own company up - GAZ shocks.

    Well the clutch is a Helix Grp N clutch so not a crap one! I just dont really know what the clutch release bearing does, just on idle its making a little squeak & just trying to determine that if this is on its way out what it affects. I'll get the chains done at the same time - makes sense :0) Cheers

    Hi - been told that my clutch release bearing is starting to sound noisy - could this cause the car to give clutch judder and also make it hard to get in gear when cold? I had a new clutch fitted last summer along with the bearing (Helix) shall I just replace with an OEM bearing - what else would it be best to get done when this is being done? Chains etc? They will need doing soon. Cheers

    Why is nobody in the Uk going to see Robert?! I dont understand! Just go and see him, jump in the car and go and see him tomorrow - you've got nothing to loose and for most of you a couple of grand to gain!

    Could be wishbone bushes? Cheap to buy but labour costs a bomb as they are hard to do - you need a press etc. Could be anti-roll bar bushes too which wont cost much to change.

    Couple of my mates have got them - really nice cars! If you get the bluefin & de-cat, takes them up to about 280Bhp - sounds amazing! Quite a bit of torque steer though eh - nice seats

    I've never replaced one before but dont they screw in? They look to have some kind of phillips head on but as I say - not done one before!

    Hmmm I did see that on ED38 but I've had my plates on for almost a year & have only been stopped once although I've had police behind me quite a few times. I think they are reffering more to the plates that have the tax/state stickers in the middle of the plate as these dont register on the system and some speed cameras & congestion cameras dont recognise them. I'll continue to drive with mine on though - If I get stopped I get stopped! I cant see them passing the bill of not being able to use show plates on private grounds as this wouldnt just apply to dubs using German plates, ther

    Everyone should just get a couple of mates together and go and see him! Nothing will happen sitting behind a Pc! Gav got his money back because he went to see him not because he sent emails etc and tried calling him.
