    Ah cool - I hope theres not going to be any gritters out Weds night cos there was loads out on Sat night when I drove to the Ace Cafe, did some well extreme overtaking to avoid being gritted and positioned myself behind other cars so they shielded me from the grit! Still got a few chips tho...

    Hes asking about a noise on his car not for a job! !lol Does sound like a worn CV joint though - best to get it up on the ramps and get it looked at. Not the most expensive thing in the world to get fixed.

    Alright Jez - I think with these things you pay for what you get - I think to get a good one you'd have to pay around £80-£100 for a good one. I think the polishing company sell them - if they dont they will be able to advise you on what to get - they gave good advice when I asked for it.

    Those wheels have made the car look a lot newer I think! I much prefer them to the Antera's - I bet you cant wait for some warmer weather!

    I've had a RA2 for a few months now & its saved me 3 or 4 times - twice with mobile handhelds but if theres a car in front of you it wont pick it up as the laser will be hitting that and not the RA. It also depends where abouts the laser is being pointed - if its at your bumper etc you've had it unless you have the additional laser attatched. I dont think they pick up the vans as mine hasnt gone off when I've been past one but Im sure it would have been working as I went past one that was parked on a hill going into Bluewater at xmas! No chance of speeding that day. I find its brillian

    I would say the VR will win - I regularly race my mate in his stripped out Clip Cup 172 which is pushing out about 188 bhp and although were pretty close I usually beat him and as the Astra will be heavier than a clio you should beath him but it depends on your car & driving etc.

    Yep! I dont want to get over confident though with it - it does handle much better now though so lap times should come down a few secs I might be going to the ring over the easter bank holiday for a chilled out weekend so will probably do a couple of laps then, going to Magny Cour in June - got use of the who F1 track for the day thats gonna be amazing & then back to the ring in Sept! 8)

    Yep definately gives the steering a more positive feel - makes it more sensitive. Theres no vibrations anywhere that I've noticed & I've done about 300 miles in the car now with them on - theres a lot less under steer now too. I'd definatley recommend them. I've had the front and back done - might aswell do the same. I had the wishbones done and the rear beam bushes. Arb's already poly bushes on.

    Picked my car up today from The Phirm where I had the poly bushes done front & rear - car feels much better, like driving a new car almost! Everything feels much more positive & tight. I much prefer it to how it was - I've also got Bilstein coilovers, Eibach anti roll bars and an Eibach strut brace fitted so my car should handle well now! Still a nice ride & not too crashy or rough.
