    As long as you remember its not strictly a track you'll be fine, just take it easy and dont push too hard - just treat it as a fast bit of country road and know your limits and you'll be fine! Just dont try and keep up with all the locals :0)

    Yep thats what I did this weekend - 11 euros a night and they had on site showers which were good and a bar/resteraunt which wasnt bad either. Fire wood was 6 euros a bag. The site we were at is just down the road from the ring about 2 mins drive - Im gonna be going back to the same place I expect with my mates in the summer to keep the costs down as Im going again in September but will be staying in Koblenz then which is about 30 mins drive from the ring.

    4 laps = £40 - wouldnt cost £500, thing that bumps it up is accomodation

    Ha ha well I would have liked to have done more laps but I'm going again in Summer and again in Sept so I'll be back again soon! Also doing a track day at the French F1 circuit if anyone fancies it? Its been hired out by some friends of mine.

    Yeah it was a bit of a pain in the backside to get on the track due to the ammount of cars & accidents plus it was hard to find a space in the 1 of the 2 car parks so we ended up having to park outside and then Q up with everyone coming from every direction to get on! As it was Easter it was rammed solid

    3 people went in my car - ferry was £41 each, petrol was £60 each & we camped for 11 Euros a night which I suppose is about £8 at a guess? 4 laps - £40 so not too expensive really, well worth it & made a change from going to a pub to spend my money! The foods not bad in Germany & the beer is good - not many people I met spoke english so myabe a good idea to brush up on the basics before you go - we couldnt even understand the food menu's so were taking pot luck!

    They look good! I used Hammerite on mine over a year ago and they still look ok now

    Bonrath are probably the best ones - FK stuff is Ok but the quality isnt amazing & judging on the stories Ive heard about the Cult Society boot plinths etc I wouldnt expect them to be amazing either! I've got Bonrath ones and there a very good fit etc.

    Silver is what VW recommend so I stick with that

    I use semi synthetic in mine, the one that VW use which is Syntha Silver. I had fully synthetic in it but that is too thin and when the engine gets very hot the oil will break down and not give the required protection. My engine runs a lot quieter with semi synthetic too

    Ah wicked! I was hoping someone would spot me on the webcam! Everyone should do it, its only 400 miles from Calais so not that far really for a good weekend! Heres a pic of me & Cadguy just lining up ready to go off on a lap
