    I've read that the smoking on overrun is normal and that everything is working as normal. Let me see if can find the post on this for you.

    Its really nice when you spend money on your car and you can actully fell a difference. Nice one Jay maybe you should come to the RR day and see what it's putting ot now.

    This what i regard as what the bolt does bvut don't quote me on this. The bolt put's tension the rail guide to keep the the chain tight. So if the bolt fails or becomes week due to lack of oil changes the chain can become slack and depending on how slack it goes, it can cause the chain to slap the guide making the noise. Or even worse cause the chain to slip.

    I'm looking at using wheel spacers as i have bought some wheels from eaby and thought that they would bolt straight on. As it happens the centre bore of the new alloys is smaller then my OE wheels. So what i thought i would do is buy some 15mm spacere that are 5x100 and take 1/2mm off the outer lip of the center bore so the wheels would fit on to the spacer. Just to add i was going to have this done by an engineering firm so they would be accurate. And the reason i'm usung 15mm spacer is that the wheels i bought are ET48 so by adding a 15mm, it would push the wheel out to ET33. So what do peop

    has anybody bought wheel spacer from these guys. www.wheel-spacers.co.uk And what are your comments on wheel spacers as whole. Are they safe to use? or would you not recommend using them if it can be helped. Anyone got any story of wheels falling off because the use of wheel spacers.

    If i was you i would have the oil changed first of all. Then take the car for a good blast on the motor way and try to drive it a constant 70mph. and then when you get home check the oil cap for any mayo.

    I've started to get a scraping noise when i'm turning the steering wheel in either direction the noise is coming from inside the car near steering wheel.Anyone know what this could be and how to fix it.

    there should be a lip on the bottom of the sill. It might that some muppet mehcanic or owner could squashed the sill. If you look at the side of the car you should see to arrow heads pointing to the jacking points. as for the trolley jack, you need to make some wheel ramps out of wood and then drive on to the ramps and insert the jack
