  1. yep, done that. you need the two "H" shaped brackets that bolt to the backrest. the holes are there already to bolt them into. you need the 4 tubes the rests slide into and - obviously - 2 head rests. (they must be rear headrests though as the fronts have different shaped metalwork and do not fit) the cloth cover can be removed from the rear seat backrests quite easily, it is held in around the edges with plastic "u" shaped runners. then all you need to do is bolt the brackets in place, put the cloth back on, cut the holes for the tubes to go through(!!) slide the tubes into the brackets and p

  10. ok then.. the inner and outer cv's are definately the same. both sides. the n/s shaft has the same part number from gti to vr6 so that is definately the same!!! as for the o/s it is different somehow as it has a different part number. maybe it is a different length as the vr will run a different gearbox????? or maybe the vr one is thicker diameter???? if, going by your name, your vr is supercharged i wouldn't put gti ones on it anyway.
  11. it's not 6 speed it's 5 speed!!!!! VW computer says it is 100bhp.

  15. gti , gti16v and vr ones should all be the same. cabrio ones are different as stated above ..

  17. they can't be that bad. i've already taken mine apart once and put blue led's in. the digi bits are cool as but the rest is not good enough.. will have to contact them and see if they do the early ones.. cheers guys..
  18. thanks rich, 2 questions.. do you know if they do them for old clocks starting at 10mph, not for the new fangled ones in the pic(starting at 0mph)???? and do i have to get them from the us? are there any uk suppliers??
