    as you mentioned you have a passenger airbag i assume you need a handle for the LOWER glove box - the handles for these open horizontally. the UPPER glove box (you dont have one as you have an airbag) handles open vertically.. go to vw and get one - they are cheap and as said you can swap over your lock barrel and keep the same key see pic below . . . .     all i need to do is reverse out of my drive and it's popped off!!!!!!!! lol seriously though, there is nothing else holding it on, you may need to get underneath and relese the tabs..

    you new owners!!!!!!!!!!! i've had mine FIVE years and driven it pretty much every day! still love it as much as when i first got it. they make a great everyday car - do it mate do it, you won't regret it!

    absolutely, they perish as they are rubber. buy a new one, clean up the mess, fit it and refill with plenty coolant/anti freeze and water.. sorted..

    you will need a new barrel from the dealer, with a new spring and carrier and paddle shape thingy!! the barrel comes empty so you can swap your innards into it and hence keep the same key.. not a difficult job , but a bit fiddly. done a few myself.....

    if you find a car at a scrappy, pull the rests out, take off the seat cover - then you can see the "H" shaped brackets. you can remove these with the plastic tubes still in them, then you can see how the plastic tubes come out !! putting back together you will then know how to do .

    Dear Technical Support, 18 months ago, I upgraded to Girlfriend 1.0 from DrinkingMates 4.2,which I had used for years without any trouble. However, there are apparently conflicts between these two products and the only solution was to try and run Girlfriend 1.0 with the sound turned off. To make matters worse, Girlfriend 1.0 is incompatible with several other applications, such as LadsNightOut 3.1, Football 4.5, and Playboy 6.9. Successive versions of GirlFriend proved no better.
