    vw already have a 1.7litre one running at about 200bhp... :-p

    the best thing for it is proper VW pas fluid. part number is G004000M2 - it comes in 1 litre cans at £6.57 a bottle .... i don't think you should have anything other than that fluid in there - some others are harmful to the system . . .

    1.4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! turbocharged and supercharged 170bhp..... they do go pretty good .... NOT QUITE vr6 speed though ..

    i have proxes t1-r at the mo on mine - they are great in the dry but not as good as i'd hoped in the wet!!! they are not rubbish in the wet, but i don't think they are as good as the uniroyal rainsport i had before.. (which were good in the dry and in the wet!!)

    you can fit it but it is a BIG job .. the bulkhead is different between the back of the dash and the engine bay somehow.. i'm trying to find out exactly how as i am in the same boat as you!!...... you would also need to take the dash out as the heater box underneath is different too

    if it is a 2.9 from a corrado it will be OBD1 definately. the engine code will be ABV..

    the coil pack runs in pairs of 2 cylinders . . 1 and 6 2 and 5 3 and 4 if one goes so does the other .... clever hey????

    it should all fit fine mate . the rear end is definately all the same , the front end will be the same apart from the brakes - you will need to use your existing calipers and carriers and disks... all the wishbonea, arb's, driveshafts etc will all mate up no worries .... and NO THE EARLY VR'S ARE NOT 4 STUD........ go for it - !! good luck

    the difference is probably negligable - as it gets pretty hot anyway ..
