  1. the early ones are different - 021 103 483B. fits up to 95 models - yours will be the late one you have listed. they are cheap enough - may aswell get a genuine one..
  2. yes at 103k. glad i did - one of the tensioners was snapped in half!!!!!! but they still were pretty quiet despite this. i needed the clutch doing on mine so i thought whilst the clutch and box are off - do the chains too..
  3. depends on your engne number matey .. pm me your reg or chassis number and i'll have a look . . . .
  4. yeah right!??! that first pics is great!!! love the bridge in the background looks top.
  5. from your list above :- Tensioner chain bolt 021109507A Tensioner chain Bo 021109507B these are the same item.. you will only need one of them. there is a choice dependant on engine number .. :- see pic .. [lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1170841545_594_FT157827_cam_chains.jpg][/lightbox] circled in red is the choice of tensioners dependant on engine number. in green is the choice of chains and other tensioner dependant on the same engine number ..from your list you have been priced the later upper chain (no9) and the later tensioner (no13)...??
  6. your numbers are spot on matey.. for a front door, from memory, you will need 6 grommets - 39p each.. 2 front/rear clips 86p each.. and 4 centre clips 79p each.. the centre ones are deeper than the 2 end ones to account for the shape of the recess behind the trim, but the trim should be straight to match the flat side of the door panel..
  7. and you will need a rocker gasket aswell....(021 103 483D) and whilst you are in there i would replace the crank seal (068 198 171) as you need to disturb it to get the lower chain cover off you may as well replace it..... how come they gave you both upper screw in tensioners??? (they have given you the later chain and later tensioner...)
  8. count me in please donna - great show ......
  9. no....unfortunately.. the water pump needs no gaskets and from vw the oil cooler gaskets are separate items ....
  10. so that's £76 inc vat from gsf .. i can price match that if you want a genuine one matey .. you have been pm'd ..
  11. from vw - 251 965 561B - costs £92.29 inc vat :S
  12. you just can't beat some leather recaro's .... in any other colour car they'd look awful, but in yours they look goooood as... like it
  13. you wont need the longer one on an obd2 car is it has no isv to connect it to! and as goth said above - the "s" shaped one i wouldn't use as it should have an oil trap in it...
