  2. not too bad matey.. bit of polish and a wipe down regularly keeps it good. if you can be bothered....... which i havent for a while.. doh!!

  5. dash, front seats, door panels will fit. rest is totally diferent..
  6. that part no. is a top rad hose for a 1.8, so yeah two jubilee clips, lots of water mess, refit and refill..
  7. thats how i did mine dude... undid the support bar both sides, undid the steering column to support bar bolts too, removed the bolts holding the heater box to the bulkhead, wiggled it forwards enough to get the matrix out..

  13. i think the temp senosr is a 4 pin one, from memory black with a yellow band... maybe black with blue?
  14. hmmm... is there a way of checking the injectors???? on my mk1, one of them was not closing properly, so it was dripping fuel gradually into the combustion chamber.. was a pig to start (flooded) but after it warmed up was perfect? i'd also be tempted to double check the 4 pin sensor you replaced is working properly, as i believe this controls the cold start aswell as the general fuelling
  15. i agree, yes, and yes.. have you checked the wires in the rubber boot by the door hinges? they are quite prone to breaking inside there...
  16. have you checked the fuel pressure regulator?? maybe it is building up too much pressure?
  17. come down the a31, come off at ringwood/salisbury junction. A338. turn left to go to ringwood. 1st roundabout right, then right agin. big carpark just there...
