    I decided that id either keep the car and get boost or sell it and get a rwd track car. Ive decided to go with boost and not regretting it one bit. I was dead even with a stripped 106 gti with cams and throttle bodies , My mods are exhaust intake and remap and in a mk2.

    I have a 9:1 spacer fitted in mine , was not too bad on parts needed just two head gaskets and the spacer and a set of new bolts. Im running still n/a and seems to pull just as hard as before.

    Im running two boxs with a decat , its got a good tone and as soon as you hit 70 it goes completely quiet.

    Good to hear its running again! You going to give the slicks another go ? If not i may take them off you if selling.

    Yea i was referring to tuning as most power is made with correct timing. 10.8 sounds a little rich to me sure it will all be sorted once you have had another mapping session. At least there is a lot more left to get.

    Bit of a shot in the dark but does anyone have a cam alignment tool that i could borrow for a few hours a need to sort out my timing.

    Looking at petes dyno graph with the corrado he was making 340ish at 5500 rpm at 11 psi and a GT3582R. Not sure how the turbos compare but sounds like you are very much down on power. Did you get an AFR reading your timing must be very wrong :S

    If you want to save some $$ just port match your standard exhaust manifold, sure it will flow well enough.

    Yes standard engine timing is much too advanced for boost and will cause a lot of knock , i would not run like it. Map also looks at the rate of change of air pressure for acceleration enrichments.

    Datalogging eh , what software are you using ? Also what psi are you now running on the charger?

    Im running megasquirt on my car and also no MAF. How have you got your acceleration enrichment , is it map based or tps? I have my TPS turned off completely and run only map based enrichment and mine runs fine. Could also be your set up though like too much timing ect. Some boosted maps on MSruns.com for comparison.

    Thanks for all the info guys , will definatly give it a look over , yea it just runs almost like its missfiring , seems to pull well higher up the rev range but has no power down low. Im getting a strange sound from the fuel rail when ignition is on , wonder if maybe i have an injector stuck open.

    Anyone know how to check if the timing is right? I think when I replaced my top chains I have managed to somehow get the timing wrong.

    Pretty sure the eaton m90 was made as a kit years ago but then the company that made them stopped so cant find them anymore. So all new ones are diy. Could be wrong.
