    Just out of interest what exhaust manifold are your running ? It seems like 38mm should be able to handle at least 450bhp from what i have read else where.

    I PM'd chris knott first but im under 25 so would not quote me. Maybe i got lucky as i actually called up to cancel my renewal as thought i had a better offer but then they matched it and beat it by a few 100 to the nearest competitor. Customer service was faultless for me.

    Personally dont think its worth it just due to the £/bhp Rather have cams and a remap.

    I use the cheapest one. Dont think its really worth it imo unless FI.

    If my car is running by then sure, always a bit of fun. We should start a vr6oc ladder not done on best times but who won when raced.

    I need a quote to have a custom pulley made up and didnt know if anyone on here happened to work in such a place that could do that.

    Looks very clean and nice, add a bit of boost and make it a sleeper.

    Save up for supercharger kit , they come up every now and then for about 1400. Get supporting mods in the mean time so high flow exhaust.

    Very impressive results from a lot of you! Is there another vw box that can go on instead for fwd, and what car does it come from?

    Main thing is to make sure you get front shocks capable for the extra weight of the vr6 lump. I think some people may even use mk3 shocks. Id get adjustable coilovers sold with springs as damper rates will be matched to the spring rates. If you want your car set up properly also have the alignment done and get it corner weighted. Think there is a mk2 vr6 track car on clubgti so you can probabaly find what shocks he is using.

    Hoping someone may have their engine out or may know what size the pulley is that drives the belt connected to the alternator ect ?

    Also if you get the thermostat which opens earlier should also bring down your oil temps.

    I would recommend just swapping over the sub frames with all the running gear then you get the bigger brakes ect with it and also a wider track. Will need to roll your arches a bit though if you go with a wider track.

    Haha yea thats true. Wonder if anyone else is running solids all round or maybe il just have to make up some poly ones.

    Great pics , still dont understand how engine bays can be so clean without taking the whole engine out to clean them.
