    I currently have a solid front engine mount on my car but would also like to if possible get solid mounts for the back two as i want no engine movement at all. My car is a MK2 also so not sure if i need mk3 rear mounts or mk2. Anyone know of a company that sells them ?

    Yea i guess when look at it properly may as well swap for the 24valve motor and be done with it.

    Hello Im looking at possibly getting one made up but would be good if i had some interest as if can get a few made up will obviously be cheaper for everyone. Will be like the schrick ,but without the variable valve so hoping for still good torque but with better flow top end. What kind of power gains would people like to see to make it worthwhile? Im guessing a price of around the £500-600 which is half the schrick.

    Yea sounds like your problem mine did same exact thing. As soon as it got hot enough and dryed out id be running on 6 again but not a good thing for engine.

    Im looking to get a bit more space out of my engine bay so looking to swap to a smaller alloy radiator with some slim line fans. Anyone have something similar?

    There are two lambda sensors but you only need to run one. The ecu doesnt know how your engine is running without the sensor in, surprised you can even drive it like it, will be night and day difference once you have one in. Mine is fitted in my decat.

    Yea , when mine had gone i could see some arking at night. Definatly need to shop around though as prices on the packs vary a lot!

    If its missfiring on 2 cylinders could be your coilpack. Mine would missfire all the time and sound horrible and then would just run fine for a while and go bad again.

    Thanks for the info , im hoping just some nice new oil will help it, think it did last time i changed it. What is TPS?

    Just wondering what oil for my engine ,its OBD2 and high mileage. Didnt know if i went with a slightly thicker oil it may quieten it down a bit.

    At least its a car being properly 'scended'. Wont want to drive it at this rate incase it gets dirty!

    I just need to check that all of my leads are on properly so i can rule out where my missfire is coming from. Only need it for 2 mins!

    Not sure but looks to me like its a knock sensor, so would imagine somewhere on the block itself.

    Can anyone bring a timing light to the pod please as would like to check it? Not long now , hopefully car will be running.

    Think you will need a twin piston dump valve or recirc, other ones have the valve open at idle which allows air to be drawn in which isnt registered by the MAF so wont run well.

    I had mayo in my oilcap and was just because my thermostat was gone and car was always running well below operating temperature.
