    Could I rotex supercharge my VR6 and then swap it for a R32, Keeping the Rotex, brackets, charge cooler standalone ect, Or would I be wasting my money, If i want a charged mk3 would it be best to wait till i can put the R32 in there and then work with that. Will everythink swap over from my VR6 to R32, not including internal mods! Thanks bods

    was going to say leave the strut on the sub axal and remove ball joint, drive shaft, track rod end, This way you dont upset the camber

    I guess the tensioner just keeps on taking up the slack, You think the metal on metal damaged the chain

    I hate saxo drivers as well and would not consider myself to be a "boy racer" Nor would any other the other VW drivres there, There no silly body kits or mesh, Just nice euro style VWs, End of the day ive got a VR6 and wish to turbo/ rotex it to make it fast and to drive it fast......... Want to start doing track days and take my car to the ring but that stuff ant cheep. No ones silly or dangerous!!!

    Cheers 6potmk11, So it looks like I need to find a bmw rad with the same dimentions with the same diameter coolant hoses on the same side and then fabricate new mountings, Should be fun, Has anyone done this before??

    Yeah true. Better to be safe than sorry! They realy are worn, Looks like its gone thought guide and onto metal. Was that realy noisey??

    Ummm, Its a hard one tbf, Seems pointless in my situation, You know the only problem the chains suffer is the fact the guides wear! How come people change the lot, as in, All the chains, guides, tennioners ect, When they could just change the worn parts (guides for exsample) ??

    Because it says mounting im guessing its the bushes on the subframe, But you wont know till you have a look, Go back to the garage and ask if you didn't have it done too long ago. Sounds wierd but good luck with the liecence and i hope you end up with the fine

    Umm thats what I thought, They wear less but they have lasted 140,000 so I canr't see much point

    Im after a top fill radiator for a smoothed engine bay so I can get rid of the exspanstion tank. Anyone know where I can get one from and it would need to fit the VR and perform as good as its still going to get driven hard. Thanks alot Tom

    Yeah ive had 2 mk3s now and the axals have been slighty ofset, Very anoying indeed- When your trying to get perfit wheel to arch aliment, :@ I thought I had a bent axal or the bushes had gone realy badly or somthink, Want to sort it out tho, Any know how? And if I space the one wheel out with a spacer to make it look better will that sort it out, Or will it afect the way the car handles, Cant be tracking right anyway, Rubbings probaly the clip on the bumper!!!

    No its the same fuild as your brakes, Takes it from your brake fuild res above mastar cylinder, It could have water in it but would be worrying as it would be in with your brakes system aswell, You can bleed the system (little bleed nipple like on the back of your brake caliper) and work it like bleeding your brakes. If that doesn't work or it comes back soon after you have to do as i said above,
