  1. big single turbos tend to make more power or have the potential to make more power .. twin turbos have less lag but would be pointless on a FWD car. 2 small turbos spin up more quickly than a big single and can flow more that a mid single turbo. but its a lot more work and money. id love 4 wheel drive twin turbo 400bhp fwd your probably better off with a single big turbo for a high power drag car you want one massive turbo the advantage of a supercharger is easy of install. could end up cheaper possibly more suited to a track car due to smoother power delivery. but a turbo car is always goi
  2. got mine on the 24 of this month 110 in a 70. under cover ST ive sent them a letter along with my court summuns which just talks about loosing my job, finding more work with the recession.. Its really amassing how a cheeky bit of sensible right foot can totally balls up your life.. Im going to loose my job,i wont be able to find another job. i was planning on moving out, half way though my bike test.. just brought a MX bike that i now wont be able to take any where just imagine if i had a family to look after and morage to pay. ive done something wrong but it all seems a little harsh. I
  3. Its alot more work to put a R32-36 engine in. and more money.. don't feget you will have to add money into a R32 engine to turbo it.. and the parts cost more. 400 + bhp is 400+ bhp. maybe a different power delivery. personalty i don't think the extra work and money of putting a 24v engine in would bring any gains unless the power goals where a lot higher. If you run a turboed VR without boast or low boast does it sound the same as a N/A VR? i love the sound of both
  4. mne does it as well... sounds like a right nail till it starts lol think its the fuel pump not priming.. or fuel pressure dropping off as once its started it will start up again strate away
  5. yeah GT40 and 30 psi lol.. has this thing got rods and pistons?
  6. lol yeah loads of 2l 16v have more power.. honda civic type R have 220bhp i think from a 2L. yet i pulled a cars length on one that was going for it, guess we have more Tourqe or its down to gearing or something

  16. Easy way to check this... and I think you'll love it Put your key in ignition - number 2 so lights are on dash' date=' press and hold the button in left dial that re-sets trip computer, hold button and turn ignition off, keep buttom held and start car. Release the button and press it intill the number 4 comes up.. Now you have a digital rev counter :-p Compare the digital readout to speedo readout. The digital will be exact (or to nearest 25rpm) as it's taken from the ECU. [/quote'] ill try that as well. see if its really revving off the clock in 2nd.. nice one
  17. On a closed private road Of course! I only ever drive fast on a closed private road! In 2nd gear I get to about 60mph and 3rd I get to 100mph. I haven't checked what speed I'm doing in 1st' date=' 4th or 5th at the redline. [/quote'] yeah i wouldn't dream of it on a public road.. i get 40 in 1st. 85 in 2nd 100 in 3rd. 120 in 4th and can't seem to get past 135 in 5th
  18. can someone tell me where everyone hits the rev limit... Mine revs off the clock in 1st and 2nd. 3rd about 6200 (what i thought was normal from memory) then 4th is about 6000 and had the limiter in 5th hit at about 5500 the other day but that doesn't happen all the time
