    24v head can't go on the 12v block technically boring it out will make it weaker... and if your aiming for 700bhp it would be nice to keep the wall thickness. how many miles has it done?

    you cannot disable the factory immobiliser with vagcom mate the code has to be removed from the ECU. vince did mine... said he disabled it using vag.com *-)

    yeah plug it in dude. the only way you can disable the factory immobiliser is to disable it though vag.com simply leaving it disconnected means that its still doing its job and stopping it from starting your engine

    all my mk3 have done this. i kind of like it lol with mine if i pull the top edge in it stops. Im going to try adjusting the door to close tighter some day

    No roof ..No windows, rains and snows inside lol, and two foot of damp climbing the new walls, plus the drawings change every week... Ilove my job ..:-p But at least theres always a Weatherspoons near bye lol:)( lol and then we come along and told to fit the floors at the same time. floor layer / carpet fitter now... used to be a HGV mechanic for the fire service. would love to open my own go kart track and then develop it into a big petrol head playground one day before im 30... thats the dream anyway

    there more than one way of doing it some more expensive and easy with peace of mind.. others cheaper. imo the drive shaft its self very rarly fails.. its more the CV joints. a properly shortened drive shaft will be as strong as the original if not stronger... after all its near enough the same process... oem ones are welded. once you know the length you just drop them off. pick them up and there plug and play

    yeah i love builds like that.. so solid beam rear axal. and a strate 5? that engines a monster though.. looks like its out a truck or somthing ?

    theres a few 4 wheel drive turbo VR6 around with standard shafts shortened. CV joints are the things that normally brake

    lol just drive like a nutter then. simple. my satnavs really good mate. got a little speed camera picture it the exact location on the road... so you get warning flash up that theres a camera on the road.. then look at the screan and you can see how far away it is .. never let me down tbf. don't worry about it though.. its something like 10% of them that's got film in them. ive been flashed about 3 times but never got anything

    dude how does it handle? I fitted my calipers the wrong way round but gave me no brakes at all. well confusing isn't lol... sorry if ive made you waste your money

    if you remove the factory cold air feed from the air box you can feel a drop in power on hot summer day or when sitting in traffic... not saying your going to gain anything but VW suck air from outside the engine bay for a reason

    ive used the proper ones... its the same thing and works in the same way but this looks a lot more weak ect.. the suckers on the ones i used are about 4 times as big... and would put the glue under a lot more pressure. Even thats hit and miss somtimes i can't imagine its very good tbf. might make it look fixed but i don't think it would be upto the job of repairing it structurally

    i wouldn't trust any of my mates... get a bit on edge if there seating in the car without me. they get to tempted buy it lol most are nutcases. saying that ive given in a few times but i don't like it. its bad really as ive cained all there cars and hard, which there happy with, Im trusted for no good reason lol

    should have just chopped the main out and changed my plates with my VR ones lol. nice one anyway, thats good new. tony where is the engine number?
