  2. Hi guys and girls 1 quick question for you. I blew the diff on my jetta vr and im thinking of getting the flywheel lightend while the gearbox is out. Is it recommended and if so how much can you lighten a vr6 flywheel without it giving any running trouble? and also has anyone had trouble with blue smoke when on overrun down hill? If so what is the cure? Valve stem oil seals? All help greatly appreciated many thanks shaggy

  7. No its not heat wrapped. I heard its the way 2 pipes are welded 2 1 causes alot of back pressure at higher revs but i dnt no how true it is. Im goin 2 do a diagnostic on monday 2 c if that sheds any light on the subject.
  8. Hey all i hav a 1990 mk2 jetta gti with a AAA vr lump from a 1998 highline with a raceland 6 branch manifold n a de cat pipe 2 a stainless power flow system but when i get 2 about 4500 revs it feels like it is holding back. I have heard its the manifold design that is making it hold back does that sound like a probable cause? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers shaggy.
