  3. ok kind of just out of interest tbf but would like to know and could be useful What software and program do they use to remap the standard ECU? how much does it cost and where from whys this any different to getting a standalone? Possibly change ignition advance from looking at knock getting pulled on vag.com when you come into boost? Adding more fuel where needed buy looking at AF gauge on dash to make sure your not running lean. possibly increasing your redline Surly it would be more accurate than a begi even with a noob setting it up someone sent me this link (looks like ebay scam crap

  5. the way i see it is that the rods can handle more power than the car can put down to the ground in front wheel drive format. So why change them....? If your not going to miss the money then you might as well change them but if were honest for most people it would be a waste of money
  6. in the wing? you might need to chop the bolt down a bit. but after that just hold the nut in place under it with an open end spanner and tighten it up

  13. Im sure tony can slap a spacer in there at a later date.... you don't need to pay out for chains ect again... just the spacer gaskets and labor for tony
  14. what do you recons more important to do next... lower compression ratio or intercooler ? Theres a nutter mentalist dude that ran 17psi on a stock engine for some time.. then turned it up even more before it went pop... what a legend :-d
  15. Sorry I have to disagree there bud. Charger is cheaper than Turbo due to the engine mods and time needed on a turbo.... (l) I think it totally depends on what level you take it to and what turbo you buy and how much you can do your self. Im hoping to to go turbo to the same level as a stage 1 charger very cheep indeed

Im trying to get mine how i want it without spending over 10k including going turbo ect I spend my money on cars petrol drink toys and ..... have no savings tho but im still young.   18. fair play... looking good. doing the same to mine but without all the nice bits... Im painting mine but tbf I have no idea why. you can't really see it and it will just be covered in crap in a few months. Do you not fancy a obd2 conversion at some point?
