annnnnnnnndddddddd what have you done with the valve that used to be used with the carbon filter? Left it connected and hidden it somewhere? the clear pipe that goes back to the tank.... guess thats not coming into the bay anymore, was going to p clip mine to the floor above the back axal, what you done with yours?
very nice mate Where have you ran your engine loom? have you mounted the ECU inside the cab drivers side and then though a hole in the floor to go into the chassis leg?
where have you run yours sparkz? and where have you mounted your ecu. With the headlight/ light loom im running the indicators, wiper loom up the inside of the buckhead and into the back of the suttle pannel. then the rest though a hole below the master cylinder though a hole from inside the cab though the N/S chassie leg
ok done a search but need to know Can i drag the clear pipe (one that you leave unblocked that goes to the tank and most feed though the wing to vent to atmosphere) can i drag that back under the car and cut it off at the back near the tank and p clip it to the floor or does it need to be higher than the tank to stop fuel leaking out of it? Hope that makes sence Also the black pipe you block off. can i remove it and block the hole at the inlet manni Can i bin the little valve or does it need to remain connected to stop fault codes ? Ta very much Tom
It is fella, only need it to extend my loom so as long the rest of the loom is damage free its all good. Give us a day or two as there might be a way i can rought it without extending (im hiding the loom) how much do you want for it dude including postage? Tom
I owned a VR. long story shourt the police scraped it. I ripped it down to a bare shell and brought a 8v with no rust/ strate for £600 (at the time VRs where about 2k for a good one) now its fucked and insurance is running out its getting swapped in
I literally as of yesterday started putting a VR into my 1.8 8v 4 stud rod/ cable box (same as a cabby basically) I can some pics as i go if it will help you out. or at least write down what ive done and in what order. might be to dark for pics
:-d Killed the 8v box in my car today and with some flashing red lights on the dash. Never been happier to destroy my car. Ripped out all the 8v engine ect tonight so should be booting around in a VR again within a week :-d
I dunno fella but if its got broken bits inside it then its broken change whats broken first before you start looking else where. could cause the ignition advance to stop working making ignition timing wrong causing flat spots
If theres broken bits inside your dizzy its fu cked mate. Yes a dizzy thats playing up would cause misfiring and possible flat spots def needs replacing so change it and see if theres an improvement
Are you sure mate?? You have just made me very happy Yep, Its only going to be stainless or mild steel, both easy to weld, You might be able to just fill it up. if not make a little plate to weld over it. wouldn't think it would be very expensive
