  1. Thats excellent mpg (wow !), i've never ever got more then 35mpg , Not even with a following wind going down hill etc... Is it standard box and final drive ?
  2. Anyone tried / using the above set up ? Especially if you are running 17".what is the ride quality like ?
  3. The KONIS drop 30-35mm ,the backs are non ajustable, the only ajustments are the high depending on the starting point you've set it. I think up to 35et no problem with rubbing. I run 32et and it rubbed. DIY arch rolling and used original(new) bump stop -10mm solved all
  4. Looking good mate, whats the name of the products, might give it a go too.
  5. No,the Airbag is not part of the MOT check list. You still need to sort out your ABS...put it on VAG COM .
  6. Try the NOS first,i don't recall reading anyone on this site running one .(100 BHP ! )
  7. No need, just stick your Airbag light in the ABS slot, tape it up for mot test, bob is your dads brother. Pass my MOT on monday so it does worked.

car before my vr was a mk2 jetta 16v,bloody good car,the more revs you give it the better it got. imo it handles/rides better then the vr .
  13. will, nice looking site ! espeacially the how to do section,i was thinking of doing the wiper blades (with part nos.) excellent.
  14. perhaps the boy don't know about the 8500 rev limit.
  15. look in 'commonly requested part number'richievr posted the same part numbers. Either way the monkey behind the desk should be able to check the no. on his ETKA
  16. i can't belive i've just wasted 4 minutes !
  17. about £35-£50 per arch + you might need the arches respray . AS to rubbing...from the ocasional suspension compression rub (going over bumps ) on the outside tread/edge/side wall to your tyer being cut !
  18. you are right nicky, imo, best to lower first then the wheels, that way no messing with clearance issues later on.
  19. I've removed the 2 vr6/golf badges,looks cleaner imo.
