  1. on my petrol flap it saids at half load fr 2.9 bar/bk 2.7 bar and at full load 3.0 bars fr/bk.
  2. i used a 12v corded impact gun (the type that you plug in the 12v cig socket) £12.99 from woolworth ,i got it for removing wheel bolts it also worked on my top mount nuts ,lower strut nuts & bolts etc...

"Not only does an engine need to have a quick warmup time,but also the temperature at which it operates for maximum economy can be substantially different from that for maximun power.Bascicaally,maximun power temperature is around 70deg,(160f)but for maximun economy,the temperature needs to be around 100deg to 105deg (212f to 220f).   6. Hi all, what is the standard thermostate operating temp ? Is it definitely 80deg. C or is it 87deg. C. I,ve asked the local stealer and they say its 87deg. C....... what is the part no. for the 80deg. ones .

  9. hi all,I am doing my thermostate housing o rings/seals and also the sump gasket. 1)do i use gasket sealer on all jointing face (just to be safe) 1a)what colour gasket sealer 2)my sump gasket is from GSF made in germany by elring (11621 GSF),it is the paper type,any good ? its just that i've read on this forum that most people use the rubber type ??? 3) the correct torque setting for the sump bolts. thanks all.

  11. Running a set of Yoko A539 at the moment i can only say that it is very good,sticks to the road like chewing gum (in the dry)not too sure what its like in the wet....yet.
  12. Since the light came on i personaly find my brakes respond much better to my input,i know exactly what the brakes are doing and no interference by the ABS. I understand the plus point of ABS but surely they have been around long enought not to be costing £500 + from the stealers. 1) Do mot testers test the operation of ABS on the brake test ? 2) Do i have to have ABS ? Now where is my solderind iron to bridge the ABS light to the Airbag light.........
  13. if u r rich £££ supersprint(the best).i am not so jetex,fitted it my-self no prob what so ever , it is a tight fit but it sounds well nice when u give it some,u can still have a conversation at motorway speed !!!
  14. as mk3anni said , check your spark plugs,no.6 spark plug always the first plug to foul-up,check your plugs are not wet/carbon built-up
