    who told you its your piston ring mate,i don't mean to be rude,a mechanic after a compression testor pub expert.if u r not lossing power then its more likely to be valve oil seals , if lossing power get a compression test done..by the way what mileage is the car ,has the car been used hard in the pass.

    i've just fitted the jetex 3 box twin 80mm exhaust ,no problem with fitting what so ever even though its 2.5" it hangs spot on ! it purrs and RROOAARRRRS depends on your right foot (6) later on when you up the power of your car you can replace the front box with a straight thro ^o)

    sounds like valve stem oil seal(s) mate,no way could it be the bottom ends or you'll hear alot of clunking and vibrations from the engine.

    im on koni sport suspension kit( 25-30mm drop),it is plenty low enough for every day use.after few hundred miles it settle to about 35mm all round when you change to new suspension don't forget to renew the bump stops,top mounts & berings and the tracking check/reset.

    took my car to local dealer for annual service,also incl. vehicle check,how they manage to check the condition of my brakes discs/pads without removing a single wheel is beyond me and they wanted to charge £110 (1 hour labour) to ajust my rear wheel bearings because of a slight play,did the adjusting myself took 10 minuet and 2 split pin cost 20p.

    once a week bucket of soapy water clean sponge and dry with micro fiber cloth.NEVER use acid base cleaner on polish rims

    hi, has anyone fitted jetex 3 box stainless zort themself ? since the pipes are 2.5", is the standard mounts ,the ones after the front box ok to used? i neeed to replace them ,they look shot. i don't want to start fitting the new zort without the right mounts,any info on this? thanks. (@)

    check you track rods and ball joints,you can do this buy jack up the car on both sides support on axle stands,with the steering lock in the off position get someone to hold the steering wheel in the dead ahead position. 1)hold the road wheel at the quarter pass nine position and rock it side to side if there is play then its the track rod(s) 2)hold the road wheel at the half pass twelve position and rock it in and out,any play then its the ball joint(s) repeat 1&2 on the other side. if all ok get your shocks check out.good luck.
