I would start with the thermostat,take it out and test it,it may be faulty.

Front side lights 501 , H1 for the rest ,that's what is in my standard OEM headlights.

The stealers do sell single leads,tell them the colour you want at time of ordering.

5 batteries !?Surly adding a split charger and some hi-power capacitor should do the trick, are they deep cycle batteries?

Are you using a proper spk plug socket on an extention bar? there is a slight off set there, you should still get enough clearence to the plug without having to remove anything else.

GSF do 80c thermostate (gsf part no: 17646), check it has 80c stamp on it.You also need an O ring thermo gasket too. -

The passive immobiliser has cut in,you'd need to arm and disarm the clliford before firing the car up,also there should be an override switch somewhere in the car.........welcome back to VR
