  1. Ive got some SWG ones that need a little work but I only want £25 for them.
  2. As a last resort you could run just the AC compressor with a longer belt. Try NS Racing also.
  3. No worries mate now if you dont mind I will remove the pic.
  4. No thats the oil pump drive shaft cover plate, its . If you click on the image you will get larger version. Its on the block deck face where the locating dowel is at the bottom of the pic.
  5. Its also stamped on the block on the flat nearest the bottom of this pic.
  6. Any good? Cant remember the rods though and cant see it in the Bentley! Will have a look in my other manuals later when Im in the workshop.
  7. Keep your eye out mate the Magnecors come up quite often second hand. I sold mine for £30!
  8. No peak figures as rollers only went to 370. Those figures have yet to be duplicated too, need to remove them really! Everytime it goes on the rollers there is something a miss first it was me fitting the inlet cam a tooth out then the idler broke up etc, blah, blah hopefully this year I can get some peak figures, its plenty capable but the smallest thing wrong and it looses 100+hp.
  9. VRs have only one lambda sensor. Not sure that code reader is reading correctly though if it says two MAFs are not reading any flow!
  10. Just to add that you dont need standalone, however most of the modern stuff give the options for 2 or 3 maps that can be switched at any instant. This for me will be a God send having an economy map for everyday use, a fast road map and a mental all out power map. Budget another grand though plus all the hardware your going to need to make it all reliable and useable.
  11. The Vortechs are unfortunately not much competition anymore. There are far better forced induction options around now. It will depend on how much you want to spend at the end of the day. Rotrex and 6psi will give 260+hp easily. You will not need a great deal more than some ARP fasteners and Charger setup. Reliability will never be a problem so long as you look after it and dont keep messing with it! I have seen 24-25 pounds of boost without the charger even breaking a sweat. For such a tiny piece of hardware they really are incredible. When all is running well I would expect to see 450hp easil
  12. True, but I saw little advantage at the time and spent the money else where . However anyone contemplating oil pump renewal or rebuild should consider this for sure.
  13. I looked into this last year. Sump alone was £180ish!
  14. ARPs are £200+ over here probably.
  15. If this is the one with the metal lower slat then I have a new one in a box for sale for £30 delivered. 99.9% sure its a JOM one.
  16. Bell housings are different for 4 and 6 cylinder engines. Not sure how your bro has one fitted? Unless he changed the bellhousing.
  17. Eat this is right, 10 degrees and different engine. There is a certain member on here who already owns an R36 engine not sure if hes going ahead any more though. The block has the bore walls protruding out the sides to allow for the huge pistons, Big old beasties R36. Have issues with oil pressure causing premature engine failure too. Mappable to over 300HP normally aspirated and Turbo Diesel like torque.
  18. Chargecooler is more efficient but not necessarily the best solution for a road car.
  19. Compound charging is normally best set up with the initial boost being produced by S/C and then further big boost with the T/C.
