    Good for business' as it gets refilled free. It's cheaper than it used to be, it was £9k at one point!! For high end detailers it has to be done though as alot of people with high end cars demand zymol, so it brings in business and pays for itself that way in no time

    All depends if it's been mapped for it. May be worth cleaning and oiling the flap in the mani if it's sticking as the map and mani length as set up together so if the mani is running crap and out of step with the managment it could cause big problems

    Not sure about the wires, but the solenoid is an off the shelf VAG part, should have a part number on it, the vac actuator on the mani is a Ford part and the vac tank is made by Eaton you could call stealth and if the have a control box, maybe they could take a photo of it to work it out

    Mine are for an S4 remember, but H6W BAX9 version 2. They replaced standard bulbs with offset pins so a VR maybe the same, could say though as I had hella celis on mine

    Sounds like you've mixed different types of coolant, G12+ is non reactive so can be used without worry, but others, when mixed, turn into a nasty, highly caustic sludge, I'd flush it ASAP

    Update time!! Been abit busy, all brakes replaced, OE discs and yellowstuffs, full iPod integration, which was a bitch and required the nav unit to be sent away for custom coding, but now I can use all iPod touch features on the move. All sidelights and spots bulbs replaced with high intensity LEDS to match the HIDs. Last but not least, full non res milltek with large bore downpipes and sports CATS.     How many good transplants have people seen in comparision to absolute crap boxes? I've seen some shocking 1.8Ts!! Plus it stops people swapping lumps and keeping the OE drum brakes so gotta be a good thing

    The voltage regulator has probably failed, it's inside the casing if the light. Think maplins do the parts to repair or I think ECS do a repair kit

    id check it is the correct sump they have mate, as far as I know it was discontinued long ago, even at the main dealers

    I was suprised how quick it was, changing through 2nd, 3rd and to 4th is mental, imagine something with a turbo with anti-lag, it just keeps pulling to 8000rpm with no lose of traction at all. I was expecting it to be abit quicker that the VR, but not by much because of it being a heavyweight and the loses from the Quattro, but it's in a different league, christ knows what it will be like with the exhaust system and map?

    Alright mate, nice one on your trophy, good show wasnt it for a little one, I got well sunburnt!! I sat on the wall away from mine on Sunday watching people, with the bonnet down, nobody gave it a second glance unless they knew what it was, with the bonnet up, loads of people stopped to look, proper stealthy

    Ive already gone mad on the seats with several coats of Gliptone to give them a feed so they look spot on now, I dont reacon it had ever been done!! and the poxy phone cradle will get binned!!     I'd keep a cat or sports cat, over a decat Even race cars have cats and a decat can lose you torque. It would give you higher top end and BHP, but how often do you use it. Torque in the right places is alot more fun
