  1. I'd keep a cat or sports cat, over a decat Even race cars have cats and a decat can lose you torque. It would give you higher top end and BHP, but how often do you use it. Torque in the right places is alot more fun
  2. ditto, really good stuff never use anything silicone based, it makes things worse
  3. If i was gonna get one I'd only go for dubpower, infinatly better quality and it has a flexi joint
  4. If you have polished wheels, degreaser them really well with isopropyl alcohol and put on several layers of collinite 476s wax, it'd mega hardwaring and detergent proof, go it on my splits and they just wipe clean during the normal wash
  5. Gloss black, banded steels! Just because it's winter is no excuse to run gash wheels peeps haha don't do what I did and run polished tt comps in winter, it nearly sent me over the edge
  6. I wouldn't touch NOS unless the engine was built up to take it
  7. No, just tight it up, if it keeps doing it a small doughty washer would cure it and keep it sealed
  8. I put money on it when the fitted the new rear bearings they assembled them wrong and the grease seals got pushed out and the bearing overheated
  9. Yeah they will go straight on with 205/40/17 tyres Not sure about them though on a mk3
  10. Stat and fresh oil does wonders, at least 10 deg less I also use 50/50 mineral water and G12+ coolant which also works really well
  11. I normally check when cold, normally first thing in the morning, then all the oil has settled down in the sump over night

    oil coolers

mounted mine on the underside of the passenger side chassis leg, made up a T shape out of ally angle, bolted on and gobbed on underseal just incase, then bolted the cooler to the underside of that T shape and it now sits right behind the bumper vent. As I have a 16 row I needed 90 deg bends coming off the bottom of the cooler to keep them up out the way, but if you have a 13 row that will be fine Works too well, Ive had to cover the front face of the cooler and leave the back to work as a heat sink and now its spot on
  15. Custom one all the way
