  1. If you want a little sub look at MTX subs, they used to do really good 6 & 8" ones
  2. bit of WD40 in the MAF plug will get that damp out did you touch the charcoal canister at all?
  3. only way to do it is to get a test light and work out which is permanent live, switched live, earth and remote live, that list look right though sound like somebody has been tinkering with the ISO in the past though
  4. Ive got an Infinty Perfect 10 VQ, its got a magnesium cone and comes with 2 massive alloy doughnuts that insert to the back of the sub to tune it. Its really punchy!! If you want to go mad a JL Audio W7 is about as good as it gets, but about £700
  5. yep, bomb proof quality, they even look bomb proof
  6. looks like nitrous mate, a massive shot aswell!
  7. Cheers mate, though so. Ive just this second sat down to put a bump on this thread aswell haha
  8. You can powdercoat them, they need to be plated with zinc first though to overcome cracking or a chip spreading (or It could be they add zinc to the mixture, i know zinc is involved though )
  9. Id say Stealth mate, but if you dont want to go that far Awesome GTI are in Manchester I wouldnt bother with a remap though unless you get cams, schrick or go F/I
  10. ask for a copper sump washer aswell if getting it from GSF, they also do an alloy one and its shit
  11. Worth thinking about an AEM dryflow filter aswell, I'm switching to one soon
  12. Its infinity ward again so is bound to be awesome I really want them to do another Hitman game though, I miss killing every last person on a level, innocent or not haha
  13. A blank chip is soldered onto the ECU, then reprogrammed. They are not rewritable like later versions which can be 'flashed' by companies like Revo
  14. GTechniq FTW! Black WOW is also quite good Never use anything that contains silicone, which most do. It looks good for a day or so, but actually dries the plastic out even more
  15. Did you have to cut out the exhaust aperature on the standard rear bumper to make way for the votex parts exhaust aperature? Thanks
  16. ive got the boost guage and the cental locking (i think) running from the same nipple and all is fine
  17. Ive just changed that, for some reason it was ballsing up allsorts, it was running very rich, so down on power, idling very rough and the dial needle was all over the place. Must have been a small air leak, but I couldnt find it? Ended up Ting it from the brake booster nipple and all is fine now and faster than I ever remember I also swapped all the jubilee clips for Mikalors, which also made a big difference
  18. After the cables reach inside the cabin, instead of them going to the headunit, pull them out into the footwell, extend them and run them back to the amp. Quick and easy and avoids messing with the multiblock on the door
  19. use the original wiring, its fine, ive just use the original stuff with my Infinity components and Amp'd it and its fine, decent sound quality and REALLY loud
  20. Made to measure, Hayward and Scott ( really good but ££££ ) they will make any part of the exhaust you want Magnex seem to have rust issues sometime with the welds rotting 2 box jetex is nice and throaty
  21. Id say Milltek or a custom stainless one You can sometimes lose a small amount of torque, but thats normally when you de-cat I think. VRs need a better breathing exhaust though so its always worth doing
  22. It could just be a bolt not torqued up fully, I had my wishbones done recently, few days after I got a knocking, which turned out to be a bolt that needed another 1/4 turn
  23. Check the springs are seated properly did you replace the mounts and bearings whilst it was apart?
  24. Snow foam is what you want, (TFR) traffic film remover is normally very strong. Any snowfoam you buy from the detailing companies will be fine Autobrite, auto rae-chem, 3d products, elite car care etc One you got looks fine.
