    Use an old school bike chain style oil filter tool, it'll cut in an grip. Or take the Allen plug out and get the jaws of the grips in the hole and outside on the socket hexagon. They aren't supposed to be tight and have a large thread so you only need to start it, then finish by hand. Taking the Allen plug out will release the vacuum as well and make it easier

    It's behaving. Fuel has hit £90 fill ups though and a massive supercharger may be in the works depending on what the insurance company has to say, but not really any more expensive to run than my VR. Fun in the snow as well, once I dug it out

    If your doing a colour change it needs to be everything, door shuts, engine bay etc, else it just looks wank. So that's a full strip down, engine out job, which would be about £5k if your lucky. Better off keeping the original colour

    I stand corrected, Audis of the same age it can be done, VW Skoda Seat etc have got different firmware. So that box basically contains a firmware update for a paticular module. So £40 isn't to bad. Bet eBay has cheaper though.

    Yeah, do some googling or get it on vagcom and see what options you have. All that'll do is change a total in a line of the coding. Daylight robbery!
