yep logic series alarms, slight problem is that they where declassified as cat 1 systems years ago according to the thatcham website so you wont get that much off your premium compared to if it was a full cat 1. Mines a 900 on a 97 vr6 btw

I had this, it was the finger trap sensor, just needed to properly clean the windows and the runners that it sits in, also little bit of mr sheen down the runner aswell after id rubbed one of those little candles you get on birthday cakes up and down it, sorted it out

Theyre the LED ones from VENOM, I may convert the offside reversing bulb to fog, should be well easy, but failing that ill just swap back at MOT time
-
Just got some but they dont have built in fog light, they come with an extra pug 206 style lense that u need to cut your bumper and fit. Anyone else got them and what did you do? (ie fit or didnt bother) could jst put the old ones back in for mot but thats just hassle aint it

this clay stuff is the nuts!!! BUY IT NOW!!!!!
-
If you hunt around on american sites(There are some absolute polishing fanatics around! scary!!) they all polish by hand sounds silly but the main problem that makes polishing hard work is simply putting too much on in the first place, use just enough for it to haze like you have breathed on the paint on a cold day, then polish off with ease, then repeat the following weekend after washing it again, a few layers are better that trying to do it in one hit i found

I use Zymol shampoo, then that maguires clay stuff (amazing stuff) then a good quality carnuba wax (at the moment Zymol £50 but well worth it as u dont need much) Defo would use zymol shampoo and meguires clay as they are only about £20 for the pair, polish/wax wise, if you want to keep cost down autoglym super resin polish is real good stuff Also heard really good reports about this stuffhttp://www.carsparkle.com/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F1447824&rnd=9774619&rrc=N&affl=&cip=&act=&aff=&pg=ste_cat&ref=p21s and always use a high quality polishing terry cloth, ma

Once Youve sorted them, i recommend silica wheel and tyre seal, you just use it like polish on clean wheels and the dirt and dust washes off well easy, only £7

Audi specialist bloke told me today that the fuel pressure reg out of an audi (poss s4 or rs4) will fit straight into a vr6, so no need to shell out over £100 for an FSE coz theyre about £30 to him. Has anyone else done this yet and is it any good? Looks OE under the bonnet too so insurance company will never know!! Ill speak to him tomorrow and get a part number of him

Hahahaha yep, 2nd gear, 3000rpm, tunnel....smiling all the way to the petrol station to fill up again!! Im enjoying the sound to much!!! Defo my favourite mod so far!
-
Spoke to Stealth and they said its a waste of time putting the cold feed on, they never bother, so its on without it, it sounds insane, just went thru a busy tunnel in town and made some women jump! hahaha

with exhausts like powerflow, the end result in quality is really down to the individual fitter/builder, depends if they are good at their job or not, I live down the road from the head office so theyre pretty spot on! Avoid getting it done on saturdays, incase they rush it coz they wanna get home when they finish at 12ish and are already hanging with a hangover from friday night on the lash! hahaha

Bought a stage one charger....a little help please?
xyber replied to poultonjoe's topic in Engine Tuning
Ive seen a new kit from the states with all the best specs, worked out to about £2500 including shipping and a poss £220 slap on the arse from customs for import tax. £1000 cheaper that over here!!! Im saving for that bad boy! -
Is that you Borat? Borat!.....
-
I just bought a BMC coz I heard another VR with one, i was sold insantly, plus if they are good enough for formula 1, they'll do for a vw Also they started coz some bloke couldnt find the exact spec filter he needed, so he built his own, It was so impressive he started marketing them and pro race teams started taking interest. All said though the piperx viper was a close 2nd, prefered the sound of the bmc though

Fitting one tomorrow (if it stops raining!! :@ ) but am worried about sucking up rain etc. Cold air feed was gonna be in the usual bumper vent position but keep thinking that driving head on into rain could have a very bad ending!!! :-d Any one got any experience of this happening? Cheers in advance

Ive got the same problem! Cant find the siren box anywhere??? anyone guide me to it please? cheers
-
Has anyone else had the problem of the siren not working on their full closure alarm?
-
Its a cat 1 logic 900 (factory fitted) if that helps?

Hi, hope someone cant help coz this is doing my nut!!! Fitted plasma dials ok, but now u start the engine and the tacho is fine, rev the engine and the needle will rise a bit the drop to 0 revs and then only rise slowly to about 2000 rpm??? disconnected battery for 15mins or so and all seemed fine, until i drove it again and it is doing the same??? everything else is fine so any ideas or anyone else had this problem? cheers :@ *-)
