  3. blimey! haven't updated this for a while.. have had a busy winter on the mk1 whilst it has been hiding away in the garage. figured i'd take the opportunity (mot and tax have run out, won't be used again till april :-( ) to strip, clean and repaint most of the bits under the bonnet, so i took the rad, battery, lights, grille, bumper, airbox, water hoses and most of the vac hoses out. moved the wiring loom for lights, starter horns etc out of the way for maximum room.... this is why i am doing it... :omg yuck! has obviously had a leak for quite a while....hmm this is gonna take some c

  11. there is no difference between 3 and 5 door arches or sill trims. the door rubbing strips are shorter on a 5 door, but the rest is the same..... any gti or vr6 ones will fit no probs..

  13. vacuum bottle for the aircon. closes the flap which controls whether the air comes from inside or outside..
  14. too early for a factory immobiliser then.. they came in halfway through 95, so it won't be that. i take it the engine, loom and ecu all came from the same car?
  15. only the front seats will unfortunately.. none of the rest will fit
