  4. daz, kinda.. there is a thread in readers rides called "i have a new motor". it is pretty minted and stays in the garage when it is wet, which is most of the time.. :S bought it just 'cos i have always wanted one really..! we could have a weekend meet up soon ish and discuss where and when to have an evening meet/bbq/piccy shoot?
  5. cheers man, and yup! there are loads of forest bbq areas, as jake said we had some good ones out there over the last couple of years, just need to find an empty, or nearly empty forest car park to take over!!

    naaah, easy mate! even i can do it!!! if you have never done it before be careful not to break anything levering them out of the dash, a small flat blade driver will be fine.. just prise carefully. should take about 15 mins if, as i say, you have never done it before. putting it back together will much easier, will take about 2 mins

    easy mate.. pop out the blank on right hand side (no1 above) on end of headlamp switch is a press in clip. press it in. switch comes out. pop out the blank on left side (no3 above) remove 2 screws arrowed above holding the surround in surround will now pop out. 2 screws will now be visible that hold in the dials.. undo, lean dials forward, unplug loom and remove.. job done with minimal swearing hopefully *-)

  12. new job is all good so far mate, thanks.. the meet is in poole. you know where dfs/pc world/pets at home/ carphone warehouse/mcdonalds is in poole just by the harbour, close to b&q at fleetsbridge???? it is in there from 2pm. check out www.tidyvag.co.uk for more info..
  13. mystic blue for sure, dusty mauve is much greyer.. proper lush colour is mystic blue, one of my faves.....after indian red;)

  15. 1st off, sorry to read the troubles you have had. 2nd glad you got them sorted!!! now you can enjoy the vr6 roar!! (without little 'un on board!) also, i have a 3door car i am breaking for spares, i can send you the door seals if you want them for a pretty cheap price!! let me know buddy!!
  16. if your car is pre 94, it will be behind the blank bits where the heated rear window switch is. if after 94 then pull out the ashtray and slide the small piece above the lighter to the right, you will find it behind there..
  17. plenty of oil changes and she'll be fine for miles yet!! loads on here with 150 or 160 k and still going strong
