    4 allen key bolts along the bottom front edge hold in the bottom sections. just undo them and the bases come out. then fold down the backrests, in the middle there are some spring clips, wiggle them up and out with a flat blade screwdriver. then on the outer pivot/hinges slide the clips backwards again with a flat blade. then the outer edges will come up and you can slide the backrests towrds the outside of the car and out they come.....

    cheers everybody - i was well chuffed to find one this tidy. have been looking for a while though, and found this one only 15 miles from where i live!! result!!

    today i did it. bought a new motor. and it's not a vr.... and no i haven't sold the vr either..... totally utterly as it left the factory.. but for how long?? never even welded..!! :-d thats all i have to say... :-*

    this - ??? it is either a 32 or a 34 ford 3 window coupe!! wicked isn't it?? and something they had with them was for sale for £95..... not the whole car!! otherwise i'd have bought it and it would be on my drive now!!

    yeah!!! theres nothing wrong with the early ones.. :-p as said, check for rust. check everywhere possible,especially rear window surrounds and in the door shuts on the sills. and rear calipers are cheap and easy to fix, don't worry about that too much.. for the record, i bought my 94 L plater almost 6 years ago on 72,000 miles and is still going strong and rust free, now on 118,000 miles.. :-d
