    i'm not that tall - 5"10, but i don't think i went in the judging tent on sunday.. but there were a few guys around the car, propping open the spare wheel well cover and such lke. properly impressed with that car - looked good in the mag, and, unlike some, looked better up close. interior is just insane - awesome job!! i think he won best interior??

    what year is the engine buddy?? early models (up to 95) use 021 906 433A later models (96 on) use 021 906 433C

    easiest way will be to get 95 on painted bumpers and side trims. they will fit straight on so no probs there..just be a matter of getting them painted the right colour obviously. you could as you say smooth and detexture your existing bumpers but i guess that would be more effort..and you will need the gl spec side trims, as you say, if you are going to remove the arches... the car will be painted under the arches, but they will probably have scratched it all over, and the arches may be rusty underneath.. all painted bumpers are the same, and the gl spec side trims are the same size and shap

    got some new rear lights, hella clear frosted and reds.... but after fitting them and having them on there for a couple of weeks i decided i preferred the old FK ones so they are back on again along with the clear fronts and sides, so it's back to looking like this again..... and while i am here, a couple of pics from the mega meet at billing... see ya at edition38!!! :-d

    have been trying not to spend any money on the mk1, seeing as i still owe sam the money for it....... but.......... some red stripe seats came up on ebay, they looked pretty good so i bid and won them.. wooo! when i picked them up they looked pretty good and after a damn good clean - they are!! old one out, new one cleaned and ready.. two new front ones . old and new rears, check the fade around the seatbelt on the bottom right of the old one!!!! can't have moved for years!! :-p all fitted and nice and red and not ripped to shreds! most pleased
