  1. massive massive thanks to all that turned out, it has to be the biggest meet i've seen and there were lots of cars leaving and more coming to replace them all night, awesome guys, thanks so much and thank you for your donations too, they will be gratefully received by the families
  2. Some of you may have heard that there was a car crash in the Preston/Blackburn area last night 10/10/12. Unfortunately our club has lost one of its great members in the accident, for more info check the BBC website http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-19906905 Anyways to cut a long story short, this months meet will be in memory of the lads involved and we would like a HUGE turnout, please please try and get down for a beer and to celebrate their lives Thanks in advance PS this is just a copy and paste im sending round, please do the same
  3. top man, cheers for the support, weather permitting this looks like it will be a decent turnout for the second event, hope to see you there pal
  4. anybody is welcome, good food there too
  5. it does sound to be an earthing issue, try taking all earths off, get some sandpaper and clean the faces of each part that is going to be toucking so there is perfect contact between them all, even if it has been removed and re fitted without cleaning it can make some serious issues pop up
  6. so i was half right lol, they are all later than 2001 which is when the emissions tax thing was introduced but they aren't affected by it, funnily enough when i was looking for a gttdi for the missus we went to look at one that was a 52 plate 130, came home and did numerous checks including one for the tax and it was the normal tax band, then the one she has bought is also a 2002 but an 02 not 52, this is also a gttdi 130 but is in the lower tax bracket (emissions tax) i would have thought going off age that the first one would be the one with the cheap tax, we thought it was a cock up with th
  7. i thought all R's were registered after 2001, putting them in the emissions based tax bracket, i must be wrong, my appologies
  8. i went for the 4mo based on price of the car and the fact the tax is still a normal rate on a 4mo pre 2001 R32 is a stunning car though, will have one, one day
  9. ironically, of all the things this guy was caught with the caps is the only thing he no longer has and said he doesn't know what he did with them, i'm guessing they have been given to someone he knows, i'm still keeping my eye open for a car suddenly sporting flat centres on their borbets lol
  10. the guy that stole these has now been caught and is in court tomorrow for this and many other thefts in the area, the caps are gone but the tw*t that took em is gonna pay
  11. no worries pal, cheers for the support
