  1. db charge 550+vat for all seats retrimmed in full leather, thats just under 650 in total so its not that expensive!
  2. VR6 '92-98 February 1992, a good month and year as it turned out because Volkswagen decided to plumb the VR6 unit into a Golf. The result was a VR6. Unfortunately the little Golf got the 2.8 174 bhp unit from the Passat rather than the 2.9 190 bhp version as seen in the Corrado, but never mind. The narrow 15-degree engine sat snugly and transversely between the front wheels. It was managed by the five-speed gearbox from the GTI, but suitably modified and strengthened to cope with the power. The traction control unit was also there to do the same job working with the ABS to keep wheelspin to a
  3. you'll be hard pushed to match the mulberry jake. i think simon has already asked the question of micheal at mj and he says its easier to start again as it will never be a perfect match and always look odd!

  18. http://www.gwentvw.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=39_235_246_256_257_396_402_405&products_id=316&osCsid=b8e931d851c0239fd04aa8df1be6136e here's the link to gwent vw who are fk agents and it states 40-80mm drop so 100mm is defo wrong. in the catalogue it says 70mm but whats 10mm anyway! dont forget if you want to drive over thos enice speed humps round by you, you'll need to keep raising and lowering the suspension if you want it lower for shows and higher for day to day driving. all of which means tracking/camber resets when you do!
  19. it could be the contacts behind the blower control knob itself that need a clean as the work on resistance, or it could be a faulty resistor in the motor itself which you can change. an inexpensive fix in either case!
  20. why are you detailing your engine with water? lol. seriuosly tho, you'd be best to clean any dirt and grime away by hand with cloths and detail swabs as just jetwashing the whole engine will just swill it around and not really have the desired effect you're looking for i believe! time consuming and laborious i know, but the end result will speak volumes when you pop the hood!
  21. Oh was that the operator? I thought it was you!! !shy now now girls, lets not get the handbags out again. you know it always ends in spilt milk and smudged lipstick!
  22. thats a huge result man, will have to have a good look at this motor again at one of the shows this year! all praise vince!
