never let it drop below 4000rpm. always change gear at 6250rpm. always trail brake into corners to get the weight transfer compensating for the heavy engine.
thats a bit pricey...you can get eibach with koni adjustables for £425 from awesome gti. my fav's at the mo are bilstein sprintline (about £300)...awesome ride quality. koni/eibach is good tho, and is also damping adjustable.
a good h/g to go for is the mkIV 12v vr6 one (not 24v, 12v mkIV's are rare tho). don't think we got the car in this country though, so it may have to be sent in from abroad. PhatVr6 raves about them, and he got one sent from somwhere. think it alters the compression fractionally as well.
don't wanna loose them...but i have them on my car (see sig). loads go on ebay they're not that rare. i paid £100 for mine, but upto £150 seems a good price (dependent on tyres). oh, and they were standard on all highlines and gti colour concepts. was also a 4 stud version as an option on top end mkIV polo's, but they're rare. thats weird...either the guy saying he's breaking it has 'borrowed' the pic to get more attention, or something fishy is going on. i e-mailed him asking for pics of the interior...no reply yet.
yep, put a manual box in instead. ; ) but seriosuly, prob best to use it as a manual (start in 1st, then go to 2nd at 6200rpm, then drive, etc.) biggets prob is you need to stay over 4000rpm, and theres no way you can do that setting off.
