  1. I'm looking at getting the exact wheels and tyre combo but lots of people in NZ are saying it will be a huge mistake. They say the handling will be compromised - such as tramlining, will ruin the wheel bearings and throw the handling out. Is this true? Tundershop said my ET will be 15. How far will the tyres stick out from the arches? I suppose I will definately need to get arches rolled correct?
  2. About to order my wheels from Germany but - in NZ spacers are illegal. Will I need spacers on my car if I get 9 x 16 ET 15/25/32? I hope not.
  3. hey guys can you tell me what these coilovers might be like. If they are a good brand etc or if they are lemons. Ta. 4. Can you tell me if I will definately need spacers with this combination of wheels?
  5. Ill need arch work even before I do the suspension? Is that because the wheels are so wide? How do you work on the archwork anyway?
  6. plus how low should i go for comfort and looks?
  7. but will i need spacers with these wheels if i get coilovers?
  8. Hi guys, I'm importing a set of 16x9 schmidt modernline 1 to New Zealand at the sweet cost of NZ$1400 all up. Naturally I am wanting to lower the car - how low should I go so to look good but still be able to drive over shitty roads and speed bumps etc? Also, should I simply be getting springs and shocks (will I be happy enough with how these perform re: handling, drivability and looks?) or should I fork out for coil overs? One last thing, if I am lowering and perhaps getting coil overs will i need spacers? if so can someone advise me which one's I should be getting. Cheers!
  9. Yeah tunershop are awesome - that where I'm getting me wheels from. What about five spoke OZ wheels? O yeah do the modern line 1's 'look' like the are deep dish even though they are only one piece?
  10. Hmm there seems an obvious trend here. So if I had shown you all just the modern line 1 wheels - would you have liked them and told me "good stuff geeza!"?
  11. what makes them better than one's?!
  12. ahh you bastards! but they cost the most! why the threes?
  13. Hi peps, I'm more than likely going to get either set of these wheels. Will get them shipped to NZ for a sweet total of 3200NZ - not too shabby huh. I am looking at either modern line 1 of modern line 3.
