  1. As was said its just from washing the car... it will go as soon as you use the brakes Whatever you do dont spray WD40 on them!!
  2. agreed... but I don't think a custom map is an option where he lives
  3. have you checked the relays under the seats? It's usually either those or the elements
  4. Its adjusted by the 2 bolts at the bottom of the shock that bolt it to the hub
  5. Its possible... as someone on here will tell you BUT whats the point? Why not find a half decent VR and swap any mods from your car to the VR?
  6. The camber is adjustable on the VR6 whatever shocks you have. If you want height and damping adjustable coilovers I'd go for FK Konigsports
  7. yeah they will fit any mk3 but GTI & TDIs will need different strength springs to a VR6 because of the extra weight of the engine
  8. Were the springs specifically for the mk3 VR6?
  9. and if you have aircon but tbh you dont need a huge filter to supply enough air
  10. Nice clean mk1 but shame its 5 door, mk1s never look right in 5 door to me... what engine is it?
  11. what colour was it before they changed it? Did they use the correct G12+ coolant? It should be pink
  12. No dumber than buying wheels without checking the offset Seriously theres nothing wrong with grinding a couple of mm off the calipers to gain clearance... depends how much needed to come off
  13. Ive seen it done on a 20v in a mk2
  14. if you're worried just put it really low and keep checking them every few minutes
  15. it did just pull out eventually but it didnt want to!
  16. Apart from the fact that that isnt a high pressure hose and you'd have to drive through about 25cm of water for it just to go in let alone get sucked up a metre of hose, it probably doesnt make much difference either way and putting it where you have seems like a lot less work... as has been said before I dont think they actually make a blind bit of difference anyway Actually thinking about it the stock system narrows quite considerably as it goes into the wing doesnt it?
  17. I've got a VR6 fuel rail with the fpr still in place... Ive removed the pin but I cant get the fpr to come out... any tips on doing it?
  18. do a search on here and theres a thread that will show you the differences (as a quick check if your side repeaters are square then its prob OBD1)... if its OBD2 then the corrado one is no good but if its OBD1 then it is
  19. I wouldnt assume that your 95 highline is OBD2 there were some obd1 highlines and if its a 95 then yours could be one of those.... But people dont usually bore out OBD2 TBs so if you want a bigger bore TB then OBD1 is a good thing!
  20. I did the same thing to a set... stick them in the oven on a lo heat for about 5-10mins (I kept checking mine every 2 minutes!) then when the glue has softened you should be able to pull them apart. I got a bodyshp to do the masking and painting in body colour
