    I've found a set of these for sale but it turns out the rings on the drivers side arent working... does anyone know how to replace them? Is there a bulb or led somewhere? I used to have a set but never really paid much attention to the rings because they worked! cheers

    PM pureklass on E38, they'll do them... or if not why not have a go yourself? I'm pretty sure mine took about an hour or so for each cutout

    good work... it's a long slog, you've got to be meticulous to get a finish like that but they look awesome mate! btw do u still need the chrome bolts? looks like youve got covers

    It is still sitting out slightly more than the front but it's not going to come off... try hammering around the edges of the bearing cap as well as the middle

    I lost a locking bolt key once, my local garage undid them as they had loads of different keys

    blimey the 5 door highline is a while ago, had another VR between that one and this one! Tailgate is a US spec one, came with the car as it's a US import Ditto the red badge Lights are standard CL lights that have been tinted red Thanks for all the comments

    1. You've answered that in question 2! 2. I got chrome covers from ebay 3. I bought mine from audi but ebay sually has some 4. Fitting UK/Euro lights to a US car is a bit of a pain hence the standard ones... not going to be modding this one much but got an idea for some new lights though 5. LOL not sure about a benchmark but thanks! I miss the syncro at shows/convoys but not when Im driving to work This one will never be close to the syncro as needs to be practical as a daily driver

    These ones pureklas did for someone else (who then sold them to me at a later date) so I dont know how much they cost but I'd imagine about £200-250. The last set I had I polished myself and I'd say unless you have a lot of time and patience then pay a professional to do the whole thing... it's a long job Havent had a problem with brake dust but best advice is to keep them clean... wash them at least once a week and take them off in the winter

    Its a zender bonnet isnt it? Im not a fan of badboy bonnets but dont mind the vent, reuben had one on his charged black highline and that looked alright

    they do but a 205 on a 7.5 will kind of lose the protection a bit, you can just about see here

    should be a metal bracket there that holds the warning triangle and (I think) first aid kit

    Yeah theyre polished... I use brilliant metal polish to keep them shiny, available here http://www.thepolishingcompany.com/ and also use meguiars nxt metal polish to keep them protected

    theres 5 bolts long the bottom of the bumper alone so leaving 2 out isnt a problem

    Get the toyos they give a nice subtle stretch and imo are the best out of the three (havent tried khumos though) I ended up getting Avon ZZ3 this time as I found a brand new set on ebay for £185 but this is what the toyos looked like on my old rims (you can just about see enough of the tyre to get the idea)

    lol... 3rd VR and they've all had TT comps on at some point, and red rears come to that!
