  1. replacing the hoses is pretty simple. Just undo the hose from the bottom of the radiator to drain the coolant then just replace them one at a time so you don't forget what goes where. Are the hoses the cause of the leak? The thermostat hosing is usually the culprit
  2. We don't seem to be able to do the basics right... watch the rugby world cup and the best teams get the basics right, they have flair players as well who can turn games but they only get the chances to do that because the whole team pass the ball well, tackle well and don't lose possession.... Croatia seem to manage that on a crappy wet pitch but we didn't have a clue
  3. link doesnt work for me but the ref had a bad day at the office! Swings and roundabouts though, the Scotland goal was offside anyway To be in that group and it taking Italy in the last game to stop them qualifying is an achievement on it's own... compare that to the pigs ear England are making of a much easier group!
  4. take it back to whoever fitted it... Ive had a milltek before and it fitted fine and wasnt that expensive either come to think of it!
  5. Apple rocks... that's why your hatred is irrational
  6. green bulbs make them a bit better but still wont get you through an mot... red hella ones are rubbish, they just look pink!
  7. if you ditch it you need to block it off at the big air intake pipe and add a breather filter on to the rocker cover (or better still run a length of hose to the wing with a breather filter on otherwise your car will stink of oil)
  8. It's to do with emissions... California has really strict emission levels I thik
  9. not really... you might get a slightly higher figure on a rolling road but nothing you'd notice on the road... not worth the money on it's own imo
  10. you finally got one!.... looks mint as well mate
  11. I had 9x17s et24 on my syncro but the arches had been rolled and pulled... they wil lfit, the fronts will be fine but the rears will require a bit of archwork
  12. It's about £1.05 here! I use Tesco super... car seems to run well enough on it, it's cheaper (especially with those 5p a litre off vouchers!) and get clubcard points
  13. Id use velcro, sounds like you might be changing them quite often!
  14. if you remove the carbon canister you can get the pipe down to the grill in the lower part of the bumper Id be very surprised if changing a plastic pipe to a metal one makes your car go faster though
  15. although saying that if theyre winter wheels then may as well stick with 205s and have a bit more grip
  16. what size are they? If theyre the same J as standard VR6 wheels then Ive had 195s on those before
  17. looks lower than 35mm to me but front splitter scraping? the roads must be terrible where you live... you sure its not the tyres?
  18. the arbon canister you can dump with no problems... dont know if the charge cooler will fit but why not use a fmic instead then you wont have a problem?
  19. If theyre like the In Pro angel eyes then the ring is lit by a single bulb so you should be able to change the colour
  20. why not leave the standard one on? most people do it for looks & noise really as on an n/a car you won't gain a lot for the money. otherwise get one custom made and specify you want performance rather than volume
