Basically polish improves the finish by removing a fine layer of paint... how much it removes depends on the 'cut' of the polish... G3 is basically a very abrasive polish Wax is a final stage used to protect and enhance that shine... imo the most important stage is the polishing The megs 3 step includes a paint cleaner, polish & wax but not a clay. Megs clay comes in a kit with the quick detailer (lubricant) You'll find lot's of recommendations for waxes on those links but I've always just used P21S paint cleaner and wax on mine... black magic...
sounds like a Z engineering ZR2 as opposed to stage 2... stage 2 would involve an 8psi pulley and different injectors which you wouldnt be running on a standard map.
Depends on whether you want to pay £200 to upgrade? If they're in good condition I'd go for it... I've had highline seats in my first VR and CC recaros in my last 2 and there's no comparison
unless you know what you're doing and have a pc to polish it properly I'd stay well clear of wet sanding! Have a look here http://detailingworld.co.uk/ or here http://autopia.org/ for info (or wait until sanky comes along, he's the man for detailing )
didnt find £73 a corner that expensive to be honest for the eagels... where's that from? They're £90 on my tyres which makes them £100 a corner fitted
I think it's about wanting what's different... they like euro spec and a lot of people over here like US spec for that reason Im not trying to make mine look US spec... it's a US car

I'm no expert but have been looking at the same thing very recently (went for the Canon 30D in the end) there's very little between the 400D and 40X... you won't go far wrong with either, both are excellent cameras and well priced. The Nikon does come with a better kit lens but it doesnt have an auto focus motor built into the camera so you have to buy lenses with the motor built in to them which will reduce your choice of lenses and probably make them higher priced
think they are what?! I meant what offset (ET) are they but Ive just seen on that thread they are et24 so with 25mm adaptors will be et-1 so they will stick out a bit but with stretched tyres and a bit of arch pulling you should be able to squeeze then under there's no way on earth you're going to 'pull' an arch out 3"!!
