Well I gambled with the carpet and it paid off as it's a exact match to the old carpet. Just a shame I got my measurements wrong with the order lol Lots of waiting around for glue to set and move onto the next section was boring and contact adhesive stinks so much!!! Atleast it's all paid off and I done it first attempt.

Hi everybody, I have been lurking about on here since September that is when I bought my first vr6. It's dragon green with 142000 on the clock, an old lady had owned it for the past 16 years with vw service history up to 10000. This is it when I first bought. Since then I've had the bonnet painted, new wheel bearing front and back and new starter motor. I've bought the car as a hobby, something to tinker about with in the garage. I work long hours and spend time with the family at weekend. I really enjoy spending a few hours a night playing about with it. So I thought it was about Time I start

If you aint rubbin, you're generally having no issues with your wheel/tyre fitment, not wearing your tyres out in 1000 miles due to ridiculous camber and can actually carry passengers, resulting in a better social life, leading you to realise that if you spent some money on going out with your friends you will have a much more fullfilling life and not feel you have to compensate to the internet with your ultra rare rims and car you spent so much money on you're actually scared to even drive. It wouldnt fit on a sticker.

  12. When I took it off, I had the pipe on the back which is for the idle valve I think? make sure it's a tight fit. And the breather one at the front was blanked as I ran a breather filter on the cam cover. It ran okay the other week when I drove the car up to my unit

  13. Sounds like something is not fitted correctly steve and you have an airleak after the MAF or you have damaged the MAF..... When I fitted mine it was a tight fit going onto the throttle body and on one occasion the rubber had not properly gone onto the throttle body which resulted in it running like a bag of spanners

  14. I've got one on mine mate, along with a CDA, never had an issue. The only issue I did have was the rubber slipping off the throttle body end of the intake pipe. Sound like you may have an air leak after the MAF and it's trying to compensate for unmetered air flow.

    CapeTown VR6's & .:R32

Hi Guys Earlier this month my dad and I attended a car show in Cape Town , and i thought i'd like to share a few photos with you guys. The green 2-door belongs to my best friend and it was imported from the UK down to Cape Town , so it was quite a show stopper as we hardly get to see a 2-door VR6 this side of the world. The R32 belongs to my dad, and i couldn't help but follow in his example and I became the owner of the Monza Red VR6 a year later, what a dream come true.
