  1. Yeah I've probably got some max power mags from the mid 90's about somewhere with some Reiger adverts in them! Might be a couple of pages stuck together though what with all the cruize honeyz and what ever other filth was in there [emoji15][emoji2][emoji2][emoji2]!!
  2. Think it looks a bit dated mate and those sorts of bumpers are usually made of 2mm thick fibreglass and fit like absolute crap! Plus unless you get the rest of the kit it's going to look a bit out of place. It does however match that hideous headlamp mask/grill perfectly![emoji1][emoji6] that's just my opinion though.
  3. That's if you get there with out rubbing through the tyres [emoji13][emoji13][emoji1]!
  4. Yeah but I don't want some Albanian washing my car with a sponge that he just dropped in a puddle full of grit washing my car[emoji15][emoji23][emoji23]!
  5. What makes you think it's not a highline? Only highlines came in mulberry. Or black before someone points it out!!
  6. Looks nice to me, apart from the aftermarket lights, easy and cheap to change back though. That interior looks mint, one of, if not the best mulberry leather I've seen! Description seems good, gives the impression it's not been owned by idiots! I'd say go and have a look and check for the usual Mk3 rust issues.
  7. Where abouts are you mate? If you're South East I should be able to help.
  8. What are these like for rust? Better than Mk3's I take it?............well they can't be any worse![emoji1]
  9. Really like this, looking forward to seeing lowered reckon it'll look ace, got a soft spot for old vag estates! My work hack is a '94 Audi 80 estate and they definitely don't make em like they used to!
  10. No mate chrome halfords special ones aren't better!! Lol! It's little bits like that, that if still there and intact will make the car be more original and worth more in years to come.
  11. Yeah, would be very hard to stick it back down nicely and you can't buy them new anymore.
  12. that's good I just renewed mine but may have asked for a tax disc holder I think. Not much good now though! I'll have a nice sticker to go in my back window please?!
  13. I'd probably charge around £150-£175 to cut that out weld a small plate in a smooth it off and repaint it,only problem is you may have to lose the door sill protecter and they are rare as rocking horse $h/t! I know because I've been trying to buy one for months!!!!

Usual mk3 mate! If that's all there is Id probably patch it, as long as the rest of it's nice and solid.
  15. To give you an idea of what it would cost as I'm doing a similar thing at the moment, head rebuild with skim, valve guides stem seals and new lifters £360. Tensioners and chains around £190, + obviously the 2.9 engine and labour to put it all together you're probably getting on for, or more than likely well over £1000. If I were confident that the engine was a good'un and all the above had been done I think I wouldn't be afraid to give £500 or maybe more for it. I know you can buy a good runner 2.8 for probably £150 of ebay or whatever, but you'd want to at least put new chains on that + whate
  16. Palm Springs one sounds good....[emoji12][emoji23]!
  17. May be worth giving him a ring, he's really helpful and got a lot connection's and places he gets parts from. I'm sure if there were wings anywhere for a corrado he'd have a good chance of getting hold of em!
  18. I'm sure the wings he sells are about as good as you can get without going genuine. There's only a couple of different companies that make pattern panels and he seems to sell the better ones.

Mine was the same, wait till I start pulling Bealieboy 's apart! I don't think it'd be worth the time and hassle trying to repair wings, and chances are the bits you repair won't take long to start rusting.
  20. I'm getting visions of a convoy or VR6's driving around the Hertfordshire/ Essex countryside for hours behind a certain mulberry coloured car looking for this pub! [emoji1] I'll make sure I've got plenty of petrol![emoji12]
  21. Thanks mate! Yeah ramps are well handy, especially after getting my sills all straight and rust free!
  22. Ok mate thanks, I've got a couple of local ones to me that are quite helpful to.
  23. I have been! Have to have a bit of time off from cars occasionally! It's pretty much there now, here's the proof! ; Sorry mate they were 5 door cards, swapped them for a couple of old engine mounts with a mate who's 1.8t ing a mk2 jetta. So got a set of highline 5 door black leather door cards here of anyone needs a set?
  24. Little bit of an update for this thread, not got much done to it recently as I've been collecting parts for the engine rebuild.....which even though I'm not going mad with uprated parts is costing a small fortune! Had the spare head stripped, skimmed and rebuilt with new lifters, guides etc, still needs a good clean; Then some arp bits turned up; Also ordered new chains and bearings from oemandmore, Adrian there was very helpful I must say. So these should turn up in the week so I can start putting it all together. Managed to get some highline door cards for pretty much nothing so borrowed th
