    Thanks mate! Part of my thinking behind it was that if.......sorry when I hit it again[emoji1] in the same place near the sump plug I'll be able to weld the plate up without having to weld the actual sump[emoji6]! Hopefully!

    The last couple of days have been quite productive as I could do with the car out of the workshop sooner rather than later! As you can see; Though I've still managed to get a couple of bits done, removed my sump and I wasn't to keen on this[emoji15]; So a little while back I knocked this up and forgot about it; After drilling a hole as high as possible in the sump for the oil return ( the sump from the black car was ruined and the hole was a bit low I thought) cleaned up some of the rust on the sump and plug welded the plate on, but not to much welding incase of putting to much heat through

    Whilst taking apart the schrick mani today to check if it had a plastic flap as advised by Vince at Stealth (apparently they have a habit of falling apart when supercharged, mine is metal[emoji3]) I thought that I needed to do something with it and I'm not a big fan of polishing so I did this; All put back together with stainless Allen bolts, what do you think?

    Yeah got a sensor on mine that plugs into a blank on the breather hose.

    I bought a set of the pro-sport ones (about £180) for the VR when I first got it and they were seriously harsh! They drove me insane in about a week!

    That's interesting, been trying to figure out what to do with mine when I get the charger on there and not to keen on catch cans, are there any problems with just running a bit of pipe off of it?

    More pushing on with this, who needs lunch breaks and stuff anyway! Short shift is in; Apart from the extended part I'm not sure what else has been done to it, but it feels a hell of a lot better though! Manifold out; And new one in; Then got bored of laying underneath it and over the engine bay so started on the brake's. Old; New[emoji4]! Though a bit of trimming on the caliper was needed to clear the tyre pressure sensors on the back of my wintercults[emoji15]!

    Took the VR to work today, where it'll be staying for a couple of weeks so there goes all my lunch and tea breaks for a while! [emoji24] got straight to work stripping it down; amazingly the manifold unbolted from the head with only one stud snapping even the heatshield came off with no problems![emoji4] Got the schrick off and all of the airbox, carbon canister and other gubbins to make some space; Then got the car into the corner off the workshop so you know things are getting serious!

    Another little update, been very busy steeling all of the go faster bits off of this rotbox to go on mine and trying to sell bits of it to pay for it all......... well at least in the end it should of all cost me somewhere around that magic £200 mark I reckon [emoji6][emoji23]!! So far I've had the 312mm front brake set up and got the calipers cleaned and painted and bought a set of drilled mtech discs and mintex pads; The gear turret/shifter which has been modded by the Phirm to be quickshift which I've refurbed with new bushes All back together and greased up with the cables from the donor

    Pics of what pipes you need will help, I've just bought some new silicone pipe bits for a VF charger kit of mine from ebay, and if it's the metal hose that goes from the charger to inlet manifold I'm sure any good custom exhaust builder could knock something up?

    I'll get them off at the weekend so I can have a look for numbers and proper measure up, I think they were put on there back around 2007, so maybe they're a bit old school now!

    As some of you know I've been breaking a charged VR recently and have noticed that it has a bigger set of discs using the standard caliper on a spacer bracket? Anyone have any idea what they are? Or who made them? Had a quick measure whilst still on the car with a tape and they're about 270-280mm?

    Drove an S2000 a little while back I think it had an apexi exhaust and intake.......that noise!!! [emoji16]Talk about make the hairs on your neck stand up! Mega annoying at low revs though!
