  1. right people, quick question. when your abs kicks in how does the pedal feel? as i have changed the module, and rewired the plug on as the other had had quite bad corrosion. i checked the two 30amp fuses one had popped so replaced that. then took it for a spin on the wet roads and slammed my anchors on and they didnt lock up but i couldnt feel any pulsing from the pedal as such. but im sure it felt like the car was letting off the braking pressure. my old mk3 gti you could feel the pedal and really here it but in this theres no noise or anything? :S ill try skidding again in the morning on th
  2. Question is can they be separated without taking it all out the car ?

  7. Holy crap, looking amazing mate keep it up.
  8. As tony said it would be easier to find a cheap doner car, as you will need the subframe, and mounts I you can find one a mk2vr6 solid front mount off mk2vr6.com. Passat or corrado pedal box for hydraulic clutch unless you go cable conversion. Also need clutch master cylinder, from a corrado or passat. I have used my original mk2 8v servo and made a take off for the clutch. Brakes wise depends on if your going wide track ie 5stud and using all the mk3 running gear. If so may as well go the whole hog and do 312mm brakes. But only 15" wheels that we know fit are compositor mo5s. You can use the
  9. I do like craggsys top gear maths lol
  10. I'm not sure on hp but Gareth spillers vento is built buy grant Motorsport I think using the tt 3.2 and sounds absolutely evil. Personal opinion of mine is yes forced induction gives great numbers and a quick car but sure an itbd vr6 would be more usable.
  11. Ahh yes the splines forgot about those. I think the overall lengths are the same just the splines then
  12. Driveshafts are all the same, only difference is the passenger and driver side lengths. You could even use gti shafts if there cheaper. I've done a mk2 vr6 and even the mk2 gti shafts are the same
  13. Been busy in this warm weather and got quite a bit done. It's all about the mk2 vr6
  14. I just listened to knock knock knock - the postman lol
  15. Yep I say it quite often. It's the best £10 I have spent in a while. you should have the engines swapped over i got my bay fully stripped in 4 hours with no lifts.
  16. It can't be any good surely on a standard vr6 with standard gearing. I mean the maths are there as I did it as part of my hnc. But reality it would only be good with a turbo :/
  17. We that's I'd mines ready as in running wise. I keep finding bits and bobs that could be cleaner or not sitting how they could.
  18. None of the above means anything to me lol
  19. It's the same day as another show which is it Santa pod. :/ prefere to go pod as I wanna see what she can do the strip in
  20. I must admit if it it's not chase and status it's hospitality drum and bass 2012. But one track would be chase and status end credits.
  21. Go on then what's everyone's second favourite track to blast out whilst summer is here. The reason I say second is because we all know the vr6 sound is the top anthem.
  22. On my radio I have had to jump two pins to get my Sony one to work. Think it was switched live that was missing ill get a pic tonight if I remember.
  23. Around 18lbs I think. Then fidanza do a lightweight 6lbs one.
