  1. If it tuned or not doesn't matter: A VR6 has injectors more than big enough for its NA output,. Some people even run low boost on them. The reason I asked what your goal is this: If your going forced induction and need more fuel, then fine, as who ever is tuning it can build this into your tune. That being said, you will be better off with larger injectors. If you think that you need more fuel and your engine is NA, your wrong AND the ECU will work around this with no power gain. It works like this. In normal closed loop lambda regulation the ECU calculates a lambda correction factor, If you p

  4. Sounds like the factory immobiliser with in the engine ECU.
  5. The caps also need to go back on the exact rod that they came from. When you threw everything in the boot, did you at least mark which cap came from which rod? If you didn't that cant also cause an engine to lock up, it will also cause the engine to fail in only a few miles.

  7. This is just a stock VW part that they sell for double what VW do
  8. The factory ECU has much more functionality than any stand alone on the market. People use standalone because some of them aren't good with working out the factory wiring' date=' others like to be able to "tune" the ECU them selves. I think you are getting confused here, If you are going to fit a MK5 engine complete with MK5 ECU then there is no need to change anything on the engine. The MK5 ECU is an update of that of the MK4 with the implentation of CAN-bus. This is something that the older era of cars do not have and it makes it a great deal harder to integrate the ECU into the car. To the

  10. Why are you removing the OE cooler? You can not buy the metal cap that you are looking for any more, the part number supersedes to the newer plastic one, which can not be removed. The best solution is to fit an air/oil cooler along with the OE cooler. We sell a tube to do that, and a CNC billet cap.

  12. Try email or Private message? It seemed to work for you before. May be we are so busy actually working on ECU's and development of products to be answering the phone. Notice the time that this is being posted? We are still working! Trust is nothing to do with answering the telephone. Answering the telephone results in "Hello mate can I ask some advice?" If trust is an Issue, that is why we use Paypal. Feel free to send an email.....
  13. Flat foot shift is no possible to add to MK3 VR6 software, due to the ECU not knowing the position of the clutch.

  15. The flap is controlled by vacuum. There is a solenoid valve between a vacuum tank and the control mechanism on the manifold. Use this to control when the flap changes over. When the flap should change over depends on a lot of things and should be determined by the person tuning your engine.
