Help needed,is there anybody in the Oxford area who could help me connect some of the new wiring loom to the old loom it the one that goes to the air intake pipe area,I think there about 9 cables to connect,i don't trust myself to do it i have the connectors but no crimps so if anyone can help let me know,will pay and free tea or coffee etc.

Sorry no pics , the connector is arch shape,may be a short loom is the way to go if there's any difference :S

I recently purchased a 1996 obd2 throttle body then purchased a 1996 wiring loom and the connector to the throttle body is different,(repairing this golf is turning into a right s**t. *-)

Would a VW Golf Gti wiring loom(short one) fit a Golf VR6 :^)

Will a 1995 Golf vr6 engine wiring loom fit a 1997 Golf vr6. :^)

OBD 2. anybody out there got one for sale.

Had a small engine fire (long story) and some of the wiring and connectors that attach to the throttle body have been damaged is it possible to get someone to make some up or do i have to get a whole new wiring loom. *-)

Does anybody who lives in the Oxfordshire area have a trailer i could get my car back from the garage and get it back to my house,i will pay.

How many engine wiring looms are there. i need one that goes near the bulk head area (due to fire) i can't tell at the mo due to car being at the garage and a throttle body is needed are they hard to fot or is it pretty straight forward. :S

I should have said it was a small engine fire there was no heat shield on the manifold (it has a uprated 6 branch manifold)and the air filter pipe was very close to it and must have caught fire :^) .

My car caught fire during the emissions test should the garages insurance cover the repair bill or is it up to me most people at work say the garage should pay with their insurance.The garage said it may have caught fire due no manifold cover but surely they should have noticed this and not started the test.The car is slightly modified.

I have a Miltek exhaust on the vr6 i want something a bit louder any suggestions. ^o)

Puchased my first Golf VR6 last Saturday.Resprayed BMW green,smoothed bumpers,BBS ASA deep dish 17's,miltek exhaust,induction kit,coilover,rear strut brace.£1.500 not to bad,a bit more thirsty than the Renault laguna deisel. Hope to get some pics up soon,got some greased lightning show and shine a few days ago will have a try with it Saturday. :S
