  1. What colour are the fuel injectors? brown/pink colour?
  2. Make sure that you use the tool for fitting and removing the HT leads from the spark plugs.
  3. The fault code of "engine start blocked by immobiliser" will be present if it is the immo causing it. If this fault code is no present then it is not the immo.
  4. If there are no fault codes, then It cant be the immo causing it to stop.
  5. Yeah I thought about that when I said about the 12v sump. I could draw one up and get some cut out.
  6. Why not the 12v sump? it is made of a material that doesn't crack when you look at it wrong like the 24v ones. With how low your car is, a few millimetres isn't going to save anything.
  7. Sounds about right, would need to see the plugs to confirm tho.
  8. Check to see if there has been any resistors added to any of the wires on the MAF loom.
  9. This is possible to fix with a few quids worth of high wattage resistors and a decent soldering iron. Its common knowledge that a fan motor with more than 2 big wires going to it has a resistor in it for speed control. The VW dealer that told you otherwise should be shot!
  10. We have an adapter plate in stock. Only other thing that needs to be done is block up the ISV port.
  11. Correct. It sits right by the ECU. It is ambient temperature sensor the the AC
  12. What injectors are fitted? Stock ones are a brown colour.
  13. This is MOT tester speak for "You need new top mounts mate" And is a very grey area on Golf top mounts, as they are designed to work with the weight of the car on them, so guess what happens when tested while being jacked up?
  14. When you say 'No ABS' do you mean that the car had ABS fitted but was out of action, or it was a non ABS car?
  15. 00750 fault lamp open circuit or short to earth. is not a normal fault code that 021 906 256 has, because as you say, there is no fault lamp.
  16. You just said the fault code is an immobliser code? What are the exact fault codes stored? Immo box is right up behind the dash (read extremely hard to get to)
