  1. No need for an easy bleed, use VAG COM bleeding process - Here This saves potentially hurting your ABS unit and master cylinder. It depends how deep of a flush you want to do, as to how far you go. I would suck out all the old fluid from the reservoir and fill with new fluid. I would then follow the VAG COM bleeding process. I would then open the bleed nipple on each calliper and push the piston back, expelling the fluid held in the cavity out of the nipple. Then do the nipple up. I would then bleed the clutch. During doing this check to make sure the reservoir doesn't get low at any point.
  2. The 12v runs easy enough on ME7, Simply use a 12v ME7 ECU The early engine with the single coil and lack of real VVT is the AUE engine. I have adapted the AUE ECU to run on our VR6 Turbo with 85mm Throttle body.
  3. Brown and red/green on one fan Brown and red/white on the other fan. This way they will run staged.
  4. Put a torque wrench on the nuts and see what torque they are done up to. Not alot is my guess.
  5. The ECU will just trim out the extra fuel and put you back to where you started.
  6. You can put an OBD2 head on an OBD1 block and vice versa. The cam pulleys are of no consequence, just fit the ones that are right for your engine. Cams for all '174hp' engines are all the same.
  7. It works just fine. You will need to block up the secondary air injection port on the front of the head.
  8. The guys (and girls) ran ~mid to high 12's all day. Snapping drive shafts clean in half in the process
  9. Ah that'll be why, we rolled in bout 12:30 and left at closing. Do you know that you won a trophy?
  10. We didn't see you there Jake - What time did you leave?
  11. MK3 GTI MK3 16v MK3 VR6 Are all 5 stud cars, they all use the same hubs.
  12. You will need to press the outer CV joint out of the hub with either a press or a hub puller.
  13. Just secure the wire safely. This part does nothing on European cars.
  14. The traction control is going mad because you didn't fit the R32 steering rack. 4motion and R32 front drive shafts differ because of the outer CV joint The 4motion CV joint has a male thread on the end that a nut is designed to go on The R32 CV joint has a female thread in the end that a bolt is designed to go in
  15. If when your car fails it MOT, it has days left on the current certificate, you can drive where/when ever you like, upto the date on the current certificate. If when your car failed its MOT, there is no current valid certificate, then you can only drive to where the car is BOOKED IN to have REPAIRS. If you drive from your house to the shops on the way to where your car is booked in, and the police stop you outside the shop, they are with in reason to report you.
