  1. well i've been advised new filter and a cleaner so using 10k for the inlet and wynn's fuel cleaner for the fuel system. hopefully that should bring it down a chunk
  2. not had it on vag com as no mot or tax at present so cant get no-where. have run a fault code reader over it and it's chucking up isv-engine speed sensor-earth supply voltage (but dont say what for. the cat and lambda have both seen less than 5k since i replaced em both after burning out everything racing a shaguar im gunna pop a load of chemical's into it and rev the nut's out for an hour or so to get the temp up and the crap out
  3. folks my v failed it's mot on welding for inner rear arch and emmision's way to high, it was 0.6 when limit is 0.2. i got someone to do the welding for me but need advice on the emmision's. i've got a bottle of 10k boost to clean out the inlet and combustion chambers and some fuel system/injector treatment to be safe on the fuelling side of things. and will be replacing the air filter as mine is in a dreadfull state after being located behind front bumper and getting wet and rusting badly. is there anthing else i can do to try and get my emmision's down?
  4. Wanna get a cod mw2 going on xbox for who ever has it. Or edit ya screen names to include a couple of games you have. Mine include pgr4 forza3 cod mw2 on xbox Cod mw, juiced, grid, nfs most wanted, beijing 2008, vancouver 2010 plus some crap ones on ps3
  5. use minimum 2.5 inch tube and go cat back with just a free flow back box. you want v6 burble you get v6 burble, but it get's tiresome after a while as it's to loud, for slightly quieter add a small middle box to dumb it down a bit
  6. it's all about the launch on the strip mate, it's all well having 300bhp if you dont know how to get that power down you'll be beaten by a saxo. lose weight, straight through exhaust as it breaths so much nicer at high rev's, big mofo filter and a remap, then practice some launch's. on private land of course and get the feel for your car. and before you know it your 1/4 mile is up and he's in your rear veiw mirror
  7. 8. kk i'll try that cheers. i guess the idea is to thin the rubber slightly to allow the air in
  9. cool. will add later, look out for louloubelle or something like that, it's her xbox and she's always playing CoD
  10. what's ya xbox live id, i'll add ya to the misses one and give ya a match one evening
  11. as it say's guys and gal's. need to remove my window mechanism but cant seem to seperate the mechanism from the glass it seems to be bonded in
  12. in that case you got the same engine set up as me. we used a bare obd2 engine and kept it obd1 for the larger throttle body and so i could use the rado inlet manifold. it's not a lot to swap it all over, especially if you wanna upgrade to obd2 then get a proper re-map done at stealth. if not you'll need an obd1 'chip' that is for your ecu code. normally goes by last 2 letters on the ecu, ebay specials promising 5bhp are availible for 30 odd quid and i beleive they are just copies off a well known chip
  13. i wouldnt bother doing it, sell the auto and buy a manual, simple. for all the hassle of doing it plus the conversion cost's you could buy a manual and have change to add go-faster bit's
  14. if you have an obd2 engine you should have an obd2 ecu. unless the bare engine was fitted and your original parts used like the inlet manifold and throttle body and things like that
  15. i may of read it wrong but im sure it said 100. probably me not looking propper. a quick check come up with 935kg with 117bhp =125bhp pt for a 16v saxo vts apposed to the vr being 1.15t and 174bhp = 150bhp pt
  16. i hate it when people ask if it's a real one. i just answer 'yes i can afford a real one' i used to get it a lot with my old mk2 cav sri130, the amount of people who used to ask me if i wanted to buy an engine to turn it into a real 130 or if it was a genuine one was a joke, especially since it had sri 130 in 8 inch tall letters along the bottom of the door's and was usually quicker than what ever they was driving
  17. the zorst will cause you to lose low down torque, when i got mine done i was losing to all sorts but then it came into the power band and breathed so much better that it flew, do you remember when we first met and i had changed mine to straight through coz of the noise it made, and the amount off popping and banging that was coming out the pipes, i was telling you that you lose low down torque but then the step onto the power band was completely different as it launched once it hit 3500rpm instead of a gradual vr build up. if your gunna get rid of your zorst i might have it off you if the car
  18. hmmm gas...... a 50 shot will work wonders especially if you add a controller to it. you'll want a wet kit not dry as it also add's extra fuel to the mix for better results and is safer as it prevents the engine running lean
  19. he distance is measured from the centre line of the wheel to the wheel mounting face, by putting 10mm spacers on your effectivley moving the mounting face 10mm closer to the centre line, so reduces the et by 10. if a 30 et then you fit 35 mm spacers althought you'd be a twat, it becomes negative et -5 because you have crossed the centre line by 5mm simply find a decent wheel shop and find what you want then ask em to trial fit some over ya front brakes, if they fit then ask em what size and et they are then tell em you'll be back and go find some the same cheaper on the bay of e or something
  20. mine is similar, on normal driving it feels like its slightly holding back during gear changes
  21. i went last year folks and it was pants. it's a REALLY small show. the best bit was the drag strip but even then it took em 3 hours to figure out how to set up the timing gear saturday morning. dont get me wrong there was some propper nice metal there, everything from new nissan gtr's to hillman imp's with 400bhp rover v8's. even a capri v8 twin turbo with wheely bars and parachute, but it's lack of things to see (apart from the amazingly short skirts on the promo girls) or do and majorly it's size ruined it, plus too many 1.2ltr saxo's with more power in the sounds systems than there engines.
