SEe thats what i was thinking. Saw a V6 4Motion Bora on fleabay, Cat C, went for £1200. 30k on the clock, but who does that kind of mod and it must cost a fortune! Would not want to go 4WD, so there would be quite a bit of work involved and then cos most of the bits would be either custom built(exhausts etc.) or at least non standard, the running cost would be astronomical! Are those Rados 2WD or 4WD? 5 or 6 speed box? WOuld there be a performance gain with a 2WD 24V over a standard VR6 and a V6 4Motion?

So not worth the hassle then! If I was gonna get a 4Motion and Charge it I might as well go R32 anyway for the money! I guess a 4Motion just aint a VR6! I guess the best thing to do would be a Highline with a f***ed engine, and a 4Motion with a f***ed body and make a frankenstein!!! Bit like dogs I guess, pure breds have weaknesses, but a mongrels live longer and are generrally cheaper and better!

What are your opinions? Been thinking about looking at some of these, something a bit more modern and not so many miles. Any ideas why they only made them for a few years then got rid? All the four wheels drive stuff puts me off, like a nice simple 2WD! But the fact it has more horses under the bonnet and still the lovely V6 is tempting! Any other cars with the VR6 lump for power that i should consider? Dont want nothing that looks sporty I like the fact that people get a big surprise (6) from an understated car (bah) . My dick is too big to drive a Scoobie! but I am too young for a Saab! :

is the one on the back side of the fuse cover no good?

Have you checked all the "obvious" things like plugs and leads and coil/dizzy, check you got a good spark. Air filter and stuff?

Look good with or without, depends if you like mk2 or mk4 i guess that would colour your decision. I like mk2, hence i like them. However I gotta agree that they are a hiding place for crud and they are a pain to keep black! Abottle of back to black every time all the black bits need a buff!!!

Mine varies wildly, wifey doing school run all week @23mpg, combined i get around 28mpg, same for fast motorway driving, got it up to 36mpg a few times driving like a grandad, was trying to hit 40mpg to prove a point!! -
Got a quote from Bell last week and they certainly quoted me happy! The VR is the "wifes car", cos she got no claims, me in the works van i never havent got one and they were really cheap! Bout half the price of the main stream.

Ignition switch? mine cuts the stereo out when i hit large bumps, then i have to wiggle the key to get it back on! -

Any ideas what the heated seat wiring loom consists of? would it be possible to make one that would do the job? What is it wired into, what switches etc does it have ? Thank you.

Got a full tank of tesco at the moment, the jury is still out at the moment, wife been "driving miss daisy" in it!!! Will let you know next weekend! Used to use sainsbury 97ron but that was not a lot different to standard, no different response but better economy.

Looked on the Ross tech site, and according to them it is the newest version that requires the clever cable, and the older version will work with any 3rd party cable, any experience of this please? Which Version do you use MK3ANNI?
